Very good, easy to setup and work easy with no issues.

Upgraded from a roughly 8 year old chromecast. The difference is night and day. No more buffering, stuttering or skipping. Easily worth the money to make my old Samsung set a "smart" tv. Included remote controls TV power, volume and input as opposed to the older version where everything was done via your phone.

This has, in my opinion, the best and easiest to navigate interface available. Once everything is synced, everything is super easy. Plus, the remote is basically a universal remote so I push the power button and the TV and sound bar both turn on (using the ARC port).

I love my Google Chromecast (GC) The GC is really convenient and if you don't know how to set it up,there's youtube videos to help navigate you to set it up for your smart tv. It's great. I love watching my streaming apps from my phone or tablet to tv. I totally love it !

Even though it's the HD version, the image quality is still sharp and clear on smaller TVs or secondary screens. Google TV's interface is smooth and very user-friendly, organizing all my apps and recommendations in one place. It supports all the major streaming platforms – Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Prime Video, and more. The voice search via Google Assistant is a great bonus – I can find movies or control playback just by speaking. And the “Snow” color gives it a clean, minimalist look that blends perfectly with any setup. For anyone who wants an affordable, smart, and responsive way to upgrade a non-smart TV, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

This little device makes it even easier to watch all of our online streaming platforms. The Chromecast HD is an incredibly simple yet powerful device. It instantly turned my regular TV into a smart one, and the setup couldn’t have been easier. The streaming speed is impressive everything runs so smoothly that watching movies and series becomes a real pleasure. Definitely worth it!

I have owned almost every Chromecast that has been made, and this is by far the best one yet. The fact that it has Google TV built-in is absolutely incredible. The remote works great as well. Highly recommend this product unless you have a 4K TV, then get the 4K variant.

I absolutely love this new Chromecast with Google TV (HD version). I used to have the first generation Google Chromecast, and this new version is way better. There's a remote now, and it's great quality. Buttons are click-y and have a very nice tactile feel. 2 AAAs are included. Plug the Chromecast into an HDMI port, the other end into a power source, and connect to your wi-fi network. I believe you do have to use the Google Home app to set it up, but it's really easy. And if you have speakers connected to your TV via the ARC/eARC HDMI port, this remote can control the volume and power it on and off. This Chromecast has improved performance over the previous generation. Video content looks and sounds great. I love the Google TV interface, and there's room to add other video and TV apps. I like this a lot better than the interface on my Roku TV.

This is an excellent product. Turned my old TV Samsung Plasma TV to a Smart TV. I can use the remote that comes with the Chromecast for the volume and selecting and navigating the apps. I can watch my downloaded apps on the Chromecast easily. Also it is a Google TV that is very user friendly. It connects to Google Home as well and can be turned on/off and paused with voice activation. Very well designed.

It comes with remote volume control, which you won't get with a Roku in the same price range. GoogleTV has worked very well and I have had no complaints so fat. Overall great experience and a solid recommendation if you're looking for a smart TV solution.

I bought this to replace a unit--one from a different format--that failed. I already had one set up on a different TV, so was familiar with how it worked. It was easy to install and found all viewing options right away. The remote has a simple layout and is easy to use. If you're already in the Google World, this is a very good addition to it.

I bought several of these on sale for $20. When you get used to the interface/remote, you will want this on all of your TV's. Has google assistant, and easy access to Youtube right on the remote. Very good homepage too, to navigate through all the apps.

Initially purchased to link my Meta Quest 3 to the TV but ended up using it for regular tv as well. Easy to set up. Haven’t had any lagging issues.

Very happy with this inexpensive Android TV dongle. I own two of the HD and one of the 4K version. Very heavy with both. And that as good as having an Nvidia Shield, but for anybody that's streaming services should be satisfied. Nvidia Shield has more memory, larger storage and higher end processor for on the fly video transcoding. Again, for the price you can't go wrong. Google recently put out a crap update that broke the IR ability to control the TV but fix that pretty quick. Not sure if it affected only the HD, but definitely the 4K version. If you are suffering from the IR on the remote not controlling the TV, factory reset is not required. Just removing the remote and adding it back should be good enough. Make sure to have the latest update for both system and apps prior to removing the controller and adding it back. You may have to use the button on the dongle to maneuver through the menu to add it back. One short press to change selection, one long press to make the selection.

Easy to use and setup. Just plug in and let setup. Once done you can use with controller or phone. Streaming services of course you have to pay for but easy to make any TV you need to make a smartTV.
