I bought this Google TV to pair it with an old 1080p and it works flawlessly. The cast function is also reliable and easy to use. The Google remote is paired with the TV and I can control both with one remote.

I bought this to replace my 1st generation Chromecast which stop working. I was surprised at how much easier it was to set up and I love the fact that it comes with its own remote rather than having to use my iPhone or my iPad to stream movies.

The Google Cloud is a great alternative to some of the more complicated streaming devices. I love the simplicity and ease of use. The interface is modern and very simple to navigate.

Its quick with every button pressed. No lag like some of the leading brands *coughs Firestick…. Also have volume buttons that auto connects with tv that doesn’t require any setup. Nice

Perfect for travel! I bought this for an extended hotel stay. Was easy to set up and able to stream off wifi and/or mirror my phone. The remote auto recognized the TV and able to contol power and volume as well.

The remote gives it a easier and classy touch. I've had a chromecast since it came out and honestly I can't watch tv without it. I can't forget it has a reasonable great price

Work's great. I've had it for a few years now. I haven't had any issues with it. The remote still works like new. I have alot of streaming apps download and it's still fast. I can even pull up my camera with it.

Easy to install. User friendly product. Like that it comes with its own remote. I installed it onto a decade old TV and works perfectly. So it was so cost effective than having to buy a brand new smart TV.

Needed something to watch my apps on my non smart tv int he bedroom and this works perfect. No issues with it and love how easy it was to hook up. Would definately recommend!

If you need an inexpensive streaming device that streams Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, YouTube and more, then look no further. Easy to set up. However, if you have an iPhone and would like to screen mirror your phone to your TV, then I’d just get an Apple TV unit. Chromecast can only screen mirror with a 3rd party app. I returned this item for this reason.

Love it! Much better than the old Chromecast! Turns any TV into a smart tv! Love the remote and no longer needing to use my from to control chromecast!

This Chromecast with Google TV (HD) is a daily driver throughout our house, and I got this one specifically for our guest bedroom. It's perfect for our "cut the cable" lifestyle, allowing guests to watch TV after everyone else is asleep. It's great for a spare TV since it's HD (not 4K), but it still delivers solid performance and convenience. Highly recommend for those looking for an affordable streaming option!

A worthwhile upgrade from the previous Chromecast because unlike the previous model, this version doesn't require another device to stream Netflix/Prime/Youtube TV, etc.

I've owned Fire TV, Roku, Apple. etc. Google TV is a major step in the right direction. Google puts all your apps together, and makes the UI easier to use. Google Assistant addition is great. Works with your Google Home app items.

I like that it comes with a remote and I enjoy how quick it was to get started though it is not great I can’t attach both ends in the TV I have to plug in the end of chord which is hard if the plug is taken then I have to buy something for that reason for extra plugs in.

Easy to use, great and simple remote, works well with the Google ecosystem, and has a great settings menu with a lot of options.

I like that Google is putting out budget models, but I don't understand why the 4K model can't be at this price point. Either way, I use this on a 1080p projector, so the 4K isn't an issue with me. This is the third Google Chromecast I own and they perform really well. I really like the remote and the audio search function (by holding the Google button on the top right). If you're in the Google ecosystem, setup is really simple as your setting are saved and easily transferrable among your different Chromecasts. The power cable is long enough, but I wish it were longer and thicker so I could run it through my wall (it would probably be fine to do so anyway). In terms of performance, it has some quirks. I haven't had any problems with this one yet because it's new, but like a computer, it does seem to slow down. So I've spent some time deleting old apps, and had to restart it a few times to correct some buffering/image artifacts that appear. Usually after a reset it fixes any issues, and luckily I don't have to do it all that often, so I chalk it up to a minor annoyance, but not something that is worrisome enough to not recommend it.
