This is a "home movie" style movie which actually was quite good. Normally I do not enjoy that type of movie and I rented this movie first for that very reason. They're also much more special effects than I expected in this style of moving.

THINK CLOVERFIELD MEETS HANCOCK. BOYS GET SUPER POWERS AND OF CAUSE, THINGS GO BAD. THE ONE BOY STARTS TO ABUSE HIS POWER AND ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE. NOT A BAD MOVIE AT ALL. GOOD VIDEO AND AUDIO QUALITY. A BETTER RENT THEN BUY .STAY HEAVY !

This movie managed to avoid being stale, both as a superhero flick and a found-footage style film. It succeeded on every level, and on many cases, excelled.

While I'm not a huge fan of the overuse of the "found footage", I have to admit that it was done at its best with this movie. The acting is great, cinematography, and overall character development, helping us care about the characters and pulling us into it. Overall, highly recommended.

Great special affects it really stands out on blu ray. Wanted to see it when in theaters, but ended up buying the bluray. Totally satisfied.

Bought it for my kids. It was okay. Worth the purchase if your a fan. The Blu-ray looked good.

I am a big movie buff and love the si fi. Bought at a good price. I liked it hope you do also.

This is a found footage film. It is pretty entertaining, but enough already with the found footage. It is getting very tiresome. Visuals are great, but I didn't enjoy the dialogue in this movie. It had great potential, but I was let down in the end. PQ and AQ should be stronger for a movie from 2012 and the supplemental package is non existent.

This is a magnificently executed movie, especially since it's a found footage film. The relationship of the three main characters to one another makes for fantastic drama.

my son wanted this as a reward for good grades. i enjoyed watching it with him.

I thought it was fairly realistic as to what teenagers would do with such a gift. Unfortunately, it wasn't very clear as to how "the gift" would protect one from harm which caused me to question how it ended the way it did. Otherwise, real promising plot, good pace, but the ending could have been better.

This movie is fantastic anyone will enjoy it highly

this is one of my favorite movies of 2012, it has a great plot, so so acting, good looking cinematography
