Got this after seeing Shark Tank. Horrible purchase ever made. Nothing special, it’s just a light. That’s it!!! Do yourself a favor by not buying it and thank me later.

The Circadian Optics Therapy Lamp is a great Lamp to help you get your day started working at home. I could feel the energy from the Light Therapy Lamp during the first hour of use. The on/off button in the back helps you set desires intensity by pressing 1,2 or 3 times. The Lattis design adds a very unique decor to my livingroom. I definitely will be using my Light Therapy Lamp on a regular basis.

I can't really attest to the well-being that it's supposed to envoke but I will say that the light is very pleasing both in brightness and design. It pulls off elegant and utilitarianism at the same time while keeping sharp edges and a stark black lattice body. Looks great on my desk and would be right at home in a boardroom as well

Attractive design, looks good, works well. I do like it but it's a bit too bright for desktop use for me. It has 3 brightness settings but even at the lowest setting it irritates my eyes when on my desk. I have light colored eyes which supposedly makes them more sensitive to light. It's a little blinding for me on my desktop (I guess you could wear shades but that kind of defeats the purpose). Still useful as a table lamp, will light the entire room well. Wish it included options to hang it but you're kind of on your own for that. Also would be nice if it was rechargeable but it requires the corded ac adapter to use. Not ideal for me on my desktop but still useful for a multipurpose lamp especially where bright light is needed.

Found this light to be very helpful. Set it up on my desk for work and since I start very early it helped me ease into my day. I also found it helped with my focus and concentration. It also is a nice addition to the desk. I am pleasantly surprised how it works. I like the different settings as well. I'd recommend this device.

Right out of the box this thing can light up around. Easy to use touch power on the back of it. First cut it on, super bright settings two dim settings and then it's off. Simple as can be but very fancy. Debating on getting a second one for the other side of the desk. Now the traditional desk lamp and stylish. I like that.

I never imagined that a little bit of light could make so much difference in my life. I am currently preparing for the July bar exam and was finding it somewhat difficult trying to stay focused. I decided to give the Circadian Optics - Lattis Light a try after doing a bit of research on therapy lamps. Before trying the Circadian Optics - Lattis Light I would feel tired and sleepy. After trying the Lattis Light for the first time, I immediately noticed the difference that a bit of light makes during my studies. It helps me stay focused and not feel sleepy and tired after hours of study. Just this morning I forgot to set my Lattis Light and found it difficult to stay focused. The sun would be shining bright one moment and all of a sudden grey skies the next. I immediately turned the Lattis Light to the brightest setting and it helped me get through my five hour bar prep lecture. I would absolutely recommend the Circadian Optics - Lattis Light to anyone.

Received my light 5 days ago and had a chance to use it over the last 4 full days. I would give this a 5/5 for design as I have always appreciated a mimalistic design. I would give this a 3/5 for the actual light as it is simply to stark white and bright for my taste (subjective of course). I have received many compliments on it's looks but for me, I will not be able to use. I did not see (or feel) any noticeable difference with this light on vs off.

Circadian Optics-Lattis Edition I have used light therapy for my SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) for years. It’s most evident in the winter months here in the Midwest for me. The short mostly cloudy days drive me into depression, tiredness, and just plain sad. Trips to a warm sunny land and summer here, I have no issues. The original light I first used were florescent bulbs in a large metal box (light box) that was pretty big on my desk. It worked and it was bright. Then I got a small compact florescent unit that was much smaller and still helped but was not as bright. This new unit is so compact and yet it puts out 10,000 Lux! It also has 3 brightness settings which are helpful if I am sitting really close to it and need to reduce the light or glare. I like the modern and contemporary styling that really looks nice. The power cord plugs into the back using a plug in transformer at the wall. I like the touch sensitive power button. Multiple “touches” toggles the light between off and the 3 brightness settings. It is not obtrusive or out of place on a home or office desk. I use it about 20-60 minutes per day in the mornings. The light is bright and makes doing paperwork easier. If the glare is too great, I just move it back some or reduce the brightness setting one step lower. The light therapy will after several days of use give me more energy and I will feel sharper mentally. In addition, if you are having sleep problems…using the light in the mornings helps reset your internal “clock” so at night you will be able to sleep easier. This is particularly evident in the winter months where you might have many short cloudy days with no sun. I have used this particular light for at least 2 weeks and really enjoy the size, looks, and ease of use as well as effective light therapy. In short, I would highly recommend this light for SAD. It’s so compact, bright, and looks great. The price is very reasonable especially compared to what I spent on my first “light box” which was a couple of hundred dollars. I would definitely recommend this to a friend or a family member.

This is a curious expenditure on the surface for the majority of US consumers. I am an academic and consultations with the experts (my colleagues) indicate that light therapy does help in various ways but there are different luminosities and other variables that need to be followed. So, theoretically, this product should work but the efficacy might not be a straight line. As a utilitarian showpiece on your desk or elsewhere, this is a wonderful addition. The glare can be reduced depending on your desire in three incremental steps. The looks of the lamp are great. As it says in the instructions, try to avoid exposing yourself to the light if you need to hit the bed in a few hours time. This is also a problem area for the real utility for the lamp as if you are using it to do work in the evening then you supposedly may get a sleepless night. It may end up adding to your stress instead of reducing it. One very important utility of this lamp is for the home-gardener. As it simulates the sunlight spectrum, a wonderful use of this could be to assist in the growth of seedlings in your basement or elsewhere in the house. This alone should justify the price. Seriously.

    Light therapy lamp

The purpose of this lamp is not just to provide light, but it is supposed to provide light therapy. The information on the Circadian Optics website does not claim to have an impact on SAD (seasonal affective disorder), depression, or sleeping disorders, but this lamp may help you anyway. In the user’s guide it mentions to start off using the lamp for 10 minutes, then to progress on to up to an hour. It is only to be used in the morning. It is not a lamp to provide light any time of the day, as that may negatively impact your sleep patterns. The user manual also says the light is produced by LEDs and there are no dangerous UV rays. To operate this lamp there is a small flush power button on the back of the lamp which you simply tap. To me, it turns on backwards, the brightest light is the first light, then a middle setting, then the lowest setting is last, which is still pretty bright. Too turn it off just tap it one more time. I would prefer that the first tap be the lowest setting. The cord is separate, but you just plug it into the back of the lamp. I have set up my lamp on my kitchen counter so I can see it when sitting at my kitchen table, but that is 4 feet away, and the manual says to position the lamp 5” - 18” from you, which would be super close. I don’t think my eyeballs could handle it being that close! The lowest setting of light is really bright. I also wish this lamp had a way to position the light, it is fixed in the upright position, shining straight out. The dimensions I have for this lamp are as follows: 12.75" high, 4.5" wide, 1.5" thick, the base is 2" x 5", a bit bigger than the lamp's size. The lamp is nicely made and has a nice matte black finish. It has an arts and crafts look to it, but should blend in with most decor. I haven’t noticed any changes in my sleep, but this is not really the right time of year to be trying this out. I would think that going into winter would be a better time, since then it’s dark and cold in the morning, as opposed to now, summertime, when it’s very sunny and warm in the morning, at least where I live. The manual says you could feel the benefits of this light in as soon as 3-5 days. If you or someone you love has issues with mood or sleep, it’s a relatively inexpensive way to try to help. The lamp comes in an attractive box which would make a nice gift.

A Little Light With A Lot of Power

I will have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this light before getting it, I work in a basement office so it is generally pretty dim until about midday. This light is a great way to start my mornings while sipping my caffeinated beverage. It has become a morning routine and a part that I really enjoy. The light has three settings and with how I have it set up on my desk, I find it best to have it reflect into the room for a much brighter space overall. I have had trouble sleeping for some time and find that this has helped to reset my rhythm so far. I think it is great for dark spaces to bring you back to feeling like you can get the morning sun no matter where you are or the conditions outside. Remembering to turn it off is definitely the most important thing to note but I really think it has been a great addition to my daily routine.

I recommend visited their website for the Lattis Light Therapy Lamp. I had never heard of it, until I googled it. The replication of the sun's natural light seems to work. I have gotten better sleep, and have had better mornings.
