    A great tool for parents

I wish I had this device when my children were growing up. Social media has made parenting more challenging and there is more to watch for these days than when my children were younger. I now have a granddaughter and she is very good at using computing devices. This gives parents control over when a child can use the internet and what they can and cannot access. It's a dream come true for monitoring online access. Even something as simple as when they watch online services on their television. It can be set to terminate their activity at a time specified. Hats off to Circle for creating a robust device that works along side a home router. I highly recommend this for anyone with children who wants control over internet access.

We tried this filter for about a week before giving up. We have two girls, and thought we needed a filter, and hoped this would do the trick. Granted there are a few positives and a few negatives that I discovered with this filter. It was reasonably easy to set up, and it has an app! However, it did slow down the wifi; I could not customize it the way I wanted, the time limits never worked correctly. It did block certain websites; "that we did not want to block," and allowed others in that should have been prevented! I decided to pull the plug and call it a learning experience. I possibly could have continued to work with it, and get the thing to work better, but I guess, it was not worth my time. I hope others will have better luck with it because it could be a useful product. It needs to be easier to work and setup. I hope this offered some helpful information. I do not want to appear all negative in this review.

The Circle Home Plus is an excellent home network monitoring tool. The unit is very easy to setup. It takes maybe 10 minutes to complete the installation and install the app. The dashboard has a nice display and shows you a collection of information about your network. Some of the metrics included are usage time, number of connected devices, the ability to pause network services, and network throughput and more. You can even drill down into the details of specific devices on your network. The high-speed network interface and wireless support ensures I can handle all of my daily tasks with ease. No lagging, no disconnect issues. I would definitely recommend the Circle Home Plus. It will keep you informed and in control of your home network.

Caused more problems than it fixed

Easy. to use, but just didn't work well. Broke single sign-on that I need for everything I access at work. Delay between providing rewards or pausing internet was so long that it doesn't work well for. short periods of time (like extend fifteen minutes). VPN for mobile monitoring drains battery a little faster and required occasional reboots because everything would stop working. All this was noticed within a day of owning it. It's getting returned tomorrow.

While it is possible that a few people may find the Circle Home Plus easier than learning the admin functions of your Wifi router, this seems like a complicated unnecessary "solution." The program that you use to manage it resides on your cell phone. You have to add profiles to it for each person you want to control, and add their devices. Since a 4" by 4" cube on your network isn't capable of seeing who is using one of the controlled devices, it seems rather pointless to block one kid from accessing youtube on a PC when another kid that has permission can just walk away and kid #1 can just walk up and use the PC. You'd have to enforce dictator-like rules for everyone to be logging on and off. Between Windows, the Android Os's and just about any old wifi router--you can block/control/forbid content at certain times of the day by specific devices and users just by getting the admin login and exploring the available options. So why anyone would want to pay a yearly fee to do this through an "easy" device like the Circle Home Plus, I don't know. Seems like a fashionable headache to me.

Doesn't work as well as I thought and no tech supp

I wondered why the price went down so much over the past 2 years. it's because it doesn't work well. First, tech support doesn't answer the phone nor call you back. The "Find" feature doesn't work (so I have to use Life 360). Compared to the apps that are out there - I'm very disappointed in this product.
