These are good size for the kids. They are small yet have good range (2miles in urban setting)

Wish the units came with a stand for charging. Works well for keeping in touch with fellow travelers when we are in the same area. Have not had to use it for the max distance yet.

They are good for the price;however, they do not work 25 miles out. I got about 2 miles range out. I would of took them back if I didn’t buy them on sale and have $10.00 gift card. I only paid $25.00, so I kept them. I hope they have better range in the woods.

Great product keeps updated on the weather channel and more. In case of an emergency is a must!

These are much better than the cheap ones in the drug store however when the packaging says 23 mile range I would disagree. Possibly true in an open space, but not within a 5-10 mile range for us thus far.

Seemed well made and a quality product. But our purpose was a 8 mile distance and it did not work at all at that distance. Geography an issue? Don't know.

So far, these units work well, in short test, group of kids and adults were blocks apart and we could hear well. Also tested with some older non-cobra models , chose the same channel and all 4 then could interact.

Use this to communicate with my other bouncers. Have been in a couple of situations and they still work, very durable.

These were brought to be used on a Moose hunt. Since there is no cell service in most remote areas these worked great for chatting with family in the truck in front of us.

I bought these to use in my office, which is quite large. They work as advertised and I'm pleased. Technology is working well when I don't have to think about it!

The range is very good for the size unit. I go down along the river (1/2 mile to a mile from the house it’s in a hollow) to walk the dog. Cell phone service is spotty. I can click in home on the radio to my wife if there are any problems in the woods. Gives me a much better sense of security. Sale price made the purchase unbeatable.

Bird-dogging a drive up from Long Island to south central Vermont in late August 2018– interstate highway travel, 2 miles apart lost contact for 75 miles. Contact seems to work best (mostly) in line of sight. I picked up a headset as well so my tail could radio turns and lookout points from his Jeep to me on KLR650 lightweight adventure motorcycle. That range was clear on both ends mostly. Again, this set is great for use in line of sight. For the price, I expected quite a bit more.

Tried to use on cruise ship and found that others were using the same channel. Would be great in area without other users and within line of sight. Was able to get about half mile in city before static made it impossible to communicate.

No distortion, clear and crisp, nice to hold in the hand, nice to clip on the visor of my truck and use on the handless setting. Did not try using it for further distances but I can imagine it will perform just about the same as any other comparable product out there. Nice rugged design that doesn't look like a kids toy.
