Got a set for my son and his friend so they could talk to each other from home. Good range and good clarity. They live about a 1/4 mile from each other and get good reception. Good choice when you don't want to give kids your $100 radios.

These are great to stay in touch with my younger kids when there at neighbors house. Excellent sound and pickup

They work great! Used them for our move from across the state in a car caravan. We had clear reception, no problems. Now we use them while working on our 4 acre property. Love them!

I got these Walkie Talkies for snow skiing. I already had 4 Motorola's but we gained one more ski buddy and I needed one more. Therefore, I have a lot of experience with this and I previously had an older set of Cobra's but lost one and the other stopped working. Since these are backups I'm not as concerned as to their overal appeal. The first thing I noticed that I didn't like is the grip. They do not have a waist like he Motorola's, therefore, they are thick to hold. 2nd, you have to lock them or risk easily changing the channel etc. 3rd there were some complaints on other reviews that they wouldn't charge the second time around. Mine wouldn't either but that is due to where you plug them in with the cable provided. I used one of my other USB chargers that only charges one thing at a time and it work rightt off. I think you have to plug the duel cable into a none split USB outlet so that you have enough voltage to charge both radio's at the same time, not sure. At least there is nothing wrong with the radio, it is just a USB issue. The radios sound and work fine but if your used to Motorola, you won't like them as much.

Thats work good but work better if you use outdoor like if you going camping or hiking.

Kids love them and they are still good enough for me to use as well. The weather channel is nice too!!

This radio was purchased for my staff to communicate with the back kitchen within 100 ft. It does the job fine.

These radios are used daily in my greenhouse buisness. Wet, dropped, and dirty, everyday, and thsy are still working great. Clear sound quality.

Cobra 25 mile 2 way radio great for travel in mountains where cell phone coverage it poor.

Excelent product, I purchased these for when we go on vacation. We are going to be walking trails around our cabin and needed the 25 mile range.

The walkie worked well up in the mountains where it was used majority of its time.

I bought this for communication on a big cruise ship and couldn't be any happier. Works well with other major brands and is not too large, unlike some of the "rugged" units available. It can easily slip in a pocket and it's not too heavy. Battery life was good.
