I bought this for my 7 1/2 and 9 year old grandsons. They love it. Covers 29 miles and clear reception. Easy for them to hold and handle. And affordable.

These radio's work very well for what I do, I am typically in large buildings and need to communicate with the operator on another level, these radio's have made that possible with clear connection and good battery.

I used it to communicate while hunting. In the woods, a half mile away works ok. Gets cut sometimes but overall, it works...

Was traveling on a cruise ship and even something for communication communication. This product worked out great especially the battery life. Would recommend it for anyone taking a cruise

Perfect for the job. At my travel center here in Salton city at the Chevron, My workers use them all day and they are able to communicate where the cell phones are unable to do to all the high traffic of people out here

I purchased these as a last minute purchase before going on a road trip. Wanted to be able to stay connected between the two cars involved in the trip. Battery life was good. Lasted about one day in stand by, with some back and forth, which was ok to me. The range was great. Didn't test the max range it is rated for, but worked well for the couple of miles that were between our two cars. The only think that was off to me was the sound clarity. A bit muffled for my liking, but was acceptable for the most part. Overall, happy with this purchase.

From being inside of a car & another person in another car. It works at exactly a mile range while being in a neighborhood or in a city. Works at 1.5 miles from someone being at home & other person driving the car in a neighborhood. Battery last good & its rechargable.

This was a great purchase. In a large house, we need easier contact that is provided by the Smart Phones of today. These radio's also worked great driving on the highway. Pushing a single button to talk, was much easier than having to dial and speak to the car/phone system and took less time. Another plus, was not having to look to push the car/phone dial(s). Use of the radios when traveling, enabled each of us to place the radio for easy access, feel the larger button and easily speak with one another, without distraction. Using the provided radio belt-clip attached (and removable) on the back of each unit, to clip nearby, made use even better. Had purchased another set of walkie-talkies in prior times, from different retailer. They did not function nearly so well and eventually (in a short few weeks) stopped working. Will probably purchase more of these, because they work so well and we can use them in our home and on our property! Highly Recommend this Purchase!

They work great for my needs. Use them when Jeepin with friends. Distance is good, but we aren't that far from each other.. no more than a mile at the most in all types of terrain. Never had an issue transmitting or hearing on these radios during our runs. Charge lasts a long time. Left one on all night and then used it continuously for 5 hours the next day all on the same charge and ran perfect the whole time.

We bought these for use on an upcoming cruise as a way for the family to split up, yet remain in contact. In unobstructed areas, quality was decent, yet fuzzy, but the minute we went below top deck, and more than 100ft apart, we were unable to hear in another. I can still find good use for them, kayaking, sporting events, but only in open areas will I trust them for a cell phone replacement..

We love it. We use it for church for our media team communications department. And on top it has a weather alert system which is great since we live in alabama. Great quality and the price was just right.

Haven't dug into all it's features but it's got good volume, comfortable to hold, and easy to use as far as it's basic features. Also one thing that these lag are it's microphone- it works fine but sometimes seems like it doesn't catch what you say in the first second and a half, which is noticeable. Battery life is decent as well. I'm happy with the rechargable batteries and double wire charger it came with. Not thrilled about the price for these but they're good enough.

I buyed for my kids play, awesome results bringing a lot fun times with them. I recommend.

Small enough to put in pocket or purse very easy to use.

Walkie-Talkies work great and have excellent range. No issues hearing. We use them on our ranch and love them

The radio works perfectly for local communication but the book goes through great pain to explain how the radio works over 22 miles. If you are standing on a mountain and the other person is standing on a mountain 23 miles away you may get a signal. In hilly or urban areas about .25 miles is the max distance. The charging cable is a nice USB that can charge both at the same time but a little hard to get out sometimes.

These worked great to keep two cars in touch while making a long trip. Range was very good and didn't need to charge for the entire 10 hr trip. Voice was clear and understandable. Due to static in several locations it was necessary to switch channels a few time to find a clear one.

Great radio the range is decent good for security work
