Love this dash cam. Has earn the money for what is listed

The overall experience with the camera is good, I just Wish it would record while the car isn’t on as well.

This dash cam is pretty small so it doesn’t obscure your view of the windshield. The screen on it is very small and for someone a bit older it is very hard to see anything on it. I’m not a fan of the screen size or resolution. The recordings are better than the screen resolution. I’ve used other cameras without a screen and find it just as easy to watch the recordings on my smart phone, so the screen isn’t a benefit for me. It is easy to set up and fairly easy to use. It has a microphone which can be muted, which is nice. You can also take still photos with the touch of a button. Another plus is that if you end up in a frontal accident and it clearly isn’t your fault, you have a recording of the accident. You can also get a camera that mounts on the rear that hooks up to this one. It plugs into my cigarette lighter just like many other devices, but my cigarette lighter is always powered on, so that is another draw back for me. I have to pull it out so it doesn’t run my battery down. On the positive side, it does start up fairly quickly. If you want to use the iradar companion app, then you need to have your phone connected to the dash cam. My iphone connected quickly and easily to the dash cam via Bluetooth. You do have to set up an account before you can use it though. It is also nice that the app has a map to follow where you are, showing the local speed limit and the speed you’re going next to it. While I'm not a huge fan of it, it does seem to work as advertised. My biggest complaint is really the low resolution screen.

Not worth the price tag. Will be returning.......

Love the dash cam, very convenient to have in your car.

Seemed good at first, but I frequently will get somewhere and realize the thing has quit recording. It does it frequently as well. So, unless you are will to check it every single time you get in your car I would buy another cam.

Would be better if you could view on phone app . Just ik

Good camera still not able to retrieve photos r videos

it was a great gift for my son. Everyone should have a dash cam.

I like this dashcam, it works perfectly fine in our equipment

This may be a good product, however, for my purposes (motorhome) the screen is just too small and when located on the windshield is so far away that it is pretty much of little value

I travel a lot during the weekends and I have been in some close calls. Having this camera in my vehicle has given me a new sense of security. The installation and setup of the Cobra Drive HD Dash Cam was simple and the iRadar app is a great addition. This camera comes with an micro sd card but I installed my own 128gb for additional storage. The video quality of this camera is extremely good, way better than expected. The video is easily transferred to a laptop. I really like how this little camera is able to alert me to of law enforcement radar and also traffic cameras used to report a person who run a red light in town. I was amazed at how much this little thing can detect. This is an amazing little camera and I highly recommend this to anyone who do a lot of commuting or traveling. This can save you from future tickets.

If you like to have wires everywhere and ruin your car battery go for it

The Cobra Drive HD dash cam with iRadar is a great addition for you driving safety and insurance documentation. It includes 8GB MicroSD Card , Adhesive Mount, and Vehicle Power Adapter. I was up and running in 5 minutes. It would be nice if Cobra had some videos for popular models of cars on how to run the power cable under the panels but YouTube is your friend here. There are kits to allow you to plug right into your fuse box. The power adapter plugs into a USB receptacle and a cigarette adapter is provided if your vehicle does not have one. The1296p super Hd video that works in well in daylight or at night, I had no problem identifying details in recorded video. The iRadar is a cool feature, it warns you where red light cameras are as well as locations where police have been spotted. I can confirm this feature works as advertised. The iRadar Smartphone App tracks your location speed, time stamp and sensor info in on your smartphone. The App is great and has an excellent map and speed limit info for your current route. This camera has has some advanced features that warn you of if you drift out of a lane or approaching an object in front of you too quickly. This is a great feature to have adding preventive collision protection. The camera automatically records continuous loops erasing the unneeded footage. If the camera detects an impact it will save that footage for documentation. The camera also has motion detection that will record while the car is parked, this can detect anybody tampering with your vehicle or a parking lot collision. This dash cam is advertised to withstand extreme temperature conditions this could mean better durability in an automotive environment with it’s extreme temperatures when parked. I did not test this but it is a welcome addition to protect it from early failure. If you have a newer Cobra radar detector you can also link it to the iRadar app for additional features. Cobra has made a great dash cam packed with useful and easy to use features. The iRadar app is great and works on IOS and Android. This is a great addition at a bargain price for the features it offers and will add high end protection features to any vehicle.

For cobra making radar detectors and this dash cam poorly made, it got messed up after 1 month of use

If you have the eyes of a Hawk and the fingers of Tinkerbell, this would be a great dash cam for you. This was the worst waste of my time. Basically a worthless piece of gear in your front window that obstructs vision,cause its too small to make out anything on the screen and the mounting is a joke.

Discrimination makes it sound like it has a radar detector. It does NOT! I registered this product but it says that it is not been activated. Plus $50 per year to activate this product. Best Buy took 3 months to install. They were great when they did but I had to wait way to long. I am NOT a happy customer!
