Good for line of sight transmission.

For example, using them on the ski slope, well within advertised range, was a little garbled , but on the wide open road, we had good range and clear transmissions.

They do have a decent amount of channels as well as a Weather channel but the quality of sound is a little bit suspect. I was expecting it to sound a little bit better I know they’re not the most expensive but they’re also not the cheapest. Oh well.
