I will keep these in my go bag for future deployments. I bought these to use because my 86 yr old father had just gotten out from a long stay in the hospital. I thought it would be easier for him to use the radios than his cell phone. He didn’t need to use them but I was deployed to Ocracoke for a week after Hurricane Dorian hit and they worked well all over the island, even where our phones did not. They are small and did not take up much room since we walked on and off the ferry everyday. It has one charger that charges both radios at the same time or one at a time. Easy to use and reached from one end of the island to the other and has privacy channels, but we never heard any interference.

We absolutely love these walkie talkies! They’re great for our outdoor activities, specially when we go hiking. We do always stay at a close range so I wouldn’t know how far the distance really does go but It’s handy and convenient to communicate with the “fast walkers” of the group! The best part is, they’re super easy to use! The flashlight is just an added plus!

I still havent tried using this at 32 miles, but it works fine anything under! Its easy to use, and the sound quality is pretty great! I bought this in case of an emergency and im sure it will work out great!

These walkies are great. Clear sound, and can communicate back to basecamp miles away in the mountains.

I bought these walkie-talkies for my son and he uses them with his best friend while they play paintball and airsoft. He tells me they have great clarity and distance. Most the time they’re hiding behind things so there is blockage or interference but they still do a great job. He loves them! I had bought some other brands before but I always come back to cobra because of the reliability and quality.

Cobras work fine. Batteries take about 24 hours to charge when first opened. Long lasting charge, still on my first charge without recharging. Sound is clear and loud enough to hear outdoors. A nice feature is the beep when you release the button when talking which lets the receiver know you have finished talking. The Cobras are great when traveling with family/friends on road trips. No need to worry about cellphone reception in rural areas. Bonus: the grandchildren love them

These units were purchased for use around a 20 acre farmstead and are reliable and clear transmission. I have used in the city (San Francisco) as well. It is good connection and I was surprised at the clarity and distance in spite of the hills and many buildings. However, the distance is reasonably shortened in the congested areas.

Got these to stay in touch with others when hiking. They seem to work well for that use. The group stays on the same channel and privacy code and we can stay connected (usually only 10 - 15 minutes apart at hiking speed). Should also make for a good safety device when hiking alone.

I have used these 3 times already at my hunting cabin and where most other 2-way radios don’t work these have.

We use these for when we go off road with our Polaris. Let's us stay in contact when there is no cell phone reception.

I wanted additional communication while on the boat with my wife back at the house. Distance and reception was great.

These work great in the open. I love them when we go camping or fishing. They will plug into usb or regular power so can always be ready to go.

Great set of walk-in talkies! My wife and I had one each and were about 30 miles apart and still heard each other clearly. Of course the terrain your in will affect your range.

I really like that I can access the weather radio at any time. I have not tried this outside, yet. I works well indoors, clear voice, and easy to use buttons. It is a fun item.

Love that its rechargeable...bought for the grandkids but decided to keep it myself for trips to the mountains.

I haven't used them a whole lot. I used them on the water while kayaking and they worked great.
