My first purchase of this detector was a year ago. After using it for a year, I decided to buy another. This does what it says it will, looks good, and has survived the 120 degree weather of Las Vegas without breaking. It has false positives, sure, but compared to an $800 detector, I think this is good.

So I've had this radar for about 3 months now, and I can tell you that it has already saved me hundreds of dollars on speeding tickets. I bought a rear-view mirror mount to anchor this thing in the best possible location for laser signatures (radar experts recommend using your rear-view mirror to mount any radar detector). It comes with a car charger power adapter, so if you only have one charging port in your car I'd highly recommend you get the Car and Driver extension box sold by Best Buy (its Blue) so you can charge your phone at the same time. I have used this whilst highway driving and city driving. It picks up X, K, Ka, Laser, Spectre, VG-42. It also knows the difference between static and LIVE laser signatures. You'll want to turn off the X band since that is the majority of the time lasers from brick and mortar stores. Spectre will also give some false alerts so leave that off as well. It's worked many times so far and I would recommend this product to a friend. 5/5

So far worked great. Remember this device is just to make you aware and slow down. Sometimes the cops radars system are off of doesn't have certain system on cars. 90% of cops were detected in nyc and long Island but some times the device doesn't read I assume the cops have the system turned off maybe.

I’ve had it for about a week now and I actually like it. It’s one of my first times ever getting a raider detector and it’s definitely worth the price. I’ll connect it to my phone and it’s definitely able to give me updates and give everybody else updates using the app. I also bought the cobra dash cam and they are such a great combo together. I definitely enjoy it. At the price point of $150. I think it’s very reasonable, especially since it has front and back facing detection. Overall, I definitely give it at least a four out of five. It’s not perfect by any stretch and I’m sure if you spend more money you might get better results but for the price point that I definitely have to give it what it’s worth. 

Item was reasonably priced and worked well for me. I took two trips from Florida to Georgia and the item did better than expected for me. It also alerted me to other information that I wasn’t aware of that was included. Very happy with the device and the price.

This device is great! Once I programmed it to take out the meaningless alerts, it’s been amazing. I do regret not getting the higher model that shows the direction of alerts, but I can say that this device was worth the money and a great value for what I needed.

Great value for the money. Sleek look and ease of function make this a winner. Technology reduces false alerts but no detector on the market is perfect. Great range and options.

Awesome. Works great in the city and out in the country. Highways you pick up truckers, and it will tell you where the traps are or were.

Not bad, allot of false alarms but pretty good saved me allot of times

A great radar detector. Met my expectations. Has minimal false K from passenger vehicles. And X from buildings is minimal as well. But always on the money with Ka which is the real reason for the device.

This radar is the best budget radar I ever had. I have beater car that I dont want to move my expensive radar detector into so I bought this and this could compare to my $600 radar detector.

Happy with purchase. It's saved me from some tickets.
