    This thing continues to pay for itself. As an Uber driver, I now have added protection in case something happens. The parked security mode keeps an eye on my car when Im not behind the wheel, which allows me to see what's going on through the app.

  • THEY DON'T STICK ON WINDSHIELD

    I bought 2 for 2 different vehicles. Dashcam view works well enough, but it won't stay affixed on the inside windshield of eith vehicle, so we're going back to Best Buy today for a realistic solution or a refund.

    I previously had another well-known and highly regarded dash cam brand available on Amazon. And while the quality was good, it was hard to set up to get videos exported. This Cobra unit is a major improvement in usability and I hope they continue to improve with future models over the next generation. I also appreciate the Apple CarPlay interface, I think other mfrs are missing out on implementing this feature.

    I like the design, it's a step up from SC102. BUT... It looks like it doesn't notify for red light cameras, speed cameras and co.. And I think it works best with Android phones.

    The installation was easy--especially when I realized that a space exists between the roofline and the windshield seemingly for just this endeavor, hiding the wires (2018 Honda Accord).

    Dash cam works as expected, however the app will not connect to hotspot on my iPhone no matter what I do. Been back to Best Buy 4 times for help but nobody can solve the issue. Tried Cobra tech support but cannot get a human to help. I cannot view nor manipulate any of the videos from my phone. It is a pain to pull the micro SD card out and pop it into my laptop every time I want to see anything. Will be returning this item shortly.

      Thank you for your valuable feedback. The SC 220C features an internal Wi-Fi that enables connection with your phone or app, allowing you to access the camera's data. Additionally, this access point facilitates firmware updates through the smartphone, provided that your phone has an internet or data connection. When you tap the gallery or camera icon, you will see a message indicating that your phone is accessing the internal Wi-Fi network of the device. Once this Wi-Fi connection is established, you will be able to view the live feed from the camera as well as the gallery of videos and pictures. Please note that this connection is automatic when you access a feature that requires it, such as the Gallery.     My son's car was stolen in SC about a year ago. When the car was found the next day, his original dashcam was gone. He received this dashcam as a gift and was super excited. This version is an upgrade from his previous dash cam, and he is excited to start using it. He especially liked it's a dual view and he can use it with his Apple Car Play.
