It has good video quality. It’s also good that you have someone that can install it. Eric put my in and you can’t see the wires anywhere. I would recommend Best Buy for professional install. Plus he went over the functions on it to help me out. I’m not all that savvy with tech stuff so that helped me a lot. I would recommend Best Buy for sales or installation.

I used other cobra dash cams too .. which was 450$ but this s almost half price and better easier to set up easier use .. everything s really fine except cabin camera .. cabin csmera s not really clear like other dash cameras in dark at night times

This is our 3rd cobra dash cam so the learning curve to understand how to use the cobra app "drive smarter" which is how you communicate with the dashcam. Two complaints - the cord is not long enough for the rear camera. We've hardwired all cobras but this one didn't quite reach. ONLY ONE DEVICE will ever be able to connect and pair with the dashcam. Don't let your son hook it up for you unless they're using the device you intend to have with you when you drive. You can set the name of drivers in the app but that's useless because once a new cobra dashcam is paired and setup in drive smarter, your husband, other driver or different device cannot pair at all, even with restricted SD card access, or modified accessibility. I've directed feedback to cobra over the years and they do make improvements and I hope some day they'll add a way to let household members or others that drive the vehicle, benefit from the awesome turn by turn and notification features and or set additonal profiles for secondary drivers to review their videos or adjust change settings.

Overall camera works great and the best buy install team did an excellent job on the install. Pulling videos off with your phone however can be a painful process. Took me a minute to figure out that you must disconnect your phone from your vehicle in order to connect with the camera. It is also very slow loading.

The car dash cam is a great device, I’m completely satisfied with its performance. Clear video, convenient features, and it always does its job. Highly recommend!

My wife and I love our Cobra SC 250R 4K Front and Rear Dashcam. Clear display. Had one minor problem that was quickly resolved. It kept shutting off after about 1 hour. Found a setting to extend the run time. Now it no longer shuts off while driving. Great product. Highly reccomend.

First, The Geeksquad guys did a great job installing the camera and the hardwire kit. They deserve Five stars! Second, the dash cam. I replaced a different low-end brand that failed with this Cobra cam to get the extra features. The cam records clear video and sound. The maps feature is nice, but I am debating whether I like the Drivesmarter app better than Waze. Third, the disappointment. I am very disappointed with how often it locks videos for the recording storage feature. I have the G-Sensor setting on one (the least sensitive), meaning it requires a harder hit to activate the locked recording. The problem is that it constantly saves locked recordings for every pothole, road bump, dip, intersection with a dip, parking lot entrance, and even a rough road like where they have removed the pavement with the grinder before they repave. There is no way to allot or partition the amount of storage that it uses to save locked videos. So even though I have the camera set to loop record, it does not loop record over locked videos rather quickly. So the memory card becomes filled with locked videos, and I get the "Memory Card Full" notification, and it can't record anymore. You must reformat the card or delete videos manually. Really! How many locked videos do I need? Let me set aside 200GB for locked videos; when that is full, delete the oldest locked videos and keep looping the locked videos. Use the rest of the card for looped recording. If I'm driving down the road and get the memory card full notice, I have to stop and reformat the card if I want to be protected in case of an accident. Otherwise, I am just unprotected if something happens, and I really need a saved video.

The view and camera are excellent. I had a problem with a previous camera where I was unable to remove the SD card and was unable to receive any support from Cobra other than to try to find something to push the SD card in enough so that it pops out.

Great product- been happy so far. We have enjoyed it.

Very easy to install and set up. The app is very user friendly. The video and images are nice and clear.

The car camera is great. Best Buy charge $99 installation fee instead of $199 due to Black Friday sale. The installation took around 1.5 hours. I only had it for a few days but so far so good. I didn’t have a chance to install the app on the phone, so far I didn’t figure out how to use the police alert yet. I had a state trooper in front of me today, the car camera didn’t show any alerts, I think I might need to install the app for it.

The Cobra SC 250R is easy to operate, has excellent clarity and does a great job for the price.

Using this dash camera for long road trip SFO to Vancouver…seems good enough for the recording as we expected. I recommend this product value for money. Bluetooth between two cameras would have been great for future use. Thanks!

I love it great camera quality videos are very clear. If you purchase make sure you get the 3rd camera to view inside.
