This is the sequel to Collar x Malice and should be played after completing the first game. The sequel contains after stories for all romanceable characters with the addition of two new romanceable side characters and another perspective on the Adonis organization. The game has beautiful UI design and artwork. Compared to the first game's dark and heavy style due to the nature of the plot, collar x malice unlimited showcases a more lighthearted and bright style that matches perfectly with the box cover art. This game's sequel would have received 5 stars but it falls short due to the production and localization of the game. While the translation of the game is perfectly acceptable, it can feel a bit off with how stiff and questionable some of the word choices are for the Heroine making it unbelievable whether or not her character would be saying/thinking her lines. The biggest issue lies in the programming and abundance of errors found throughout the game. Sentences awkwardly cut too soon and placed on to the next dialogue box, missing text boxes, missing words, errors with simple grammar and writing. It was as if the game was not properly checked before launch and rushed out the door to meet the deadline. Now there have been errors and mistakes in the past with previously published games such as Norn9 however it is quite confusing how Aksys games thought this was 100% ready to be released given how poorly executed it was. Do I recommend this game? Absolutely. Do I recommend you buy it now? Absolutely not. Wait until a patch is created to fully enjoy your experience, otherwise, justifying spending 70 after tax for a game that feels incomplete is unacceptable. It makes you question how a more controversial game like piofiore will be handled or cafe enchante that is to be released later this year.

This is the sequel of Collar x Malice so make sure to play the first part. If you like the first part, you will pretty much like this one too. The story line for this was not as intense as the first but it was sweet and heart warming. There are some errors in the text but it was acceptable to me. I’m looking forward for the developer improve it. Overall I enjoy this a lot!!!

The game is great and I am so excited to have this edition. This is a must have for fans of Collar x Malice. Some of the translations are messy, for lack of better word, but I hear there will be a patch to make edits. I will say, be aware that due to COVID there are shipping delays. It was only delayed a week but something to keep in mind.

Well you have to be a fan of Japanese novels to like this type of game play as this has Japanese roots in their style of gameplay.
