Dragon Quest is growing as a series in the US despite being here for over 30 years. Packing the first 3 games with great classic gameplay and story, it’s a must for any rpg enthusiast to experience the classics!

This collection includes the Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu 1), Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3), and Trials of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) all on the physical game card. If anything, this collection is worth it solely for the English version of Trial of Mana. Being a Game Boy game, Final Fantasy Adventure is too low res to be played on a TV comfortably, but is fine on handheld mode. However, Secret of Mana and Trials of Mana both are great on TV or handheld mode and show off all their 16-bit art glory. Even if you are planning to purchase the 3D remake of Trials of Mana, this original SNES/SFC version still holds up today. This collection is not only great way to preserve gaming history, but is actually fun to play.

Lots of value for $ here. While these have definitely aged, they still hold up if you're a fan of classic role playing titles. The more modern SNES titles are really special and it's great having all 3 in one place.

This collection is great for fans of the Mana series. Awesome gameplay and story lines are in this set. Trials of Mana is the highlight of the collection as it was not previously available in North America.

For fans of the Mana series, this is a great collection. Not only do you get Final Fantasy Adventure and Secret of Mana, but also the newly translated Seiken Densetsu 3!
Additionally, all three games are on the cartridge, there is no download code in here, which is great. It is way to common with Switch games these days, looking at you Final Fantasy X/X-2! So in this respect I would highly recommend this for fans of action RPGs. Great value collection.
Just bear in mind that because the games are emulated, sometimes there is input lag or the controller starts acting strangely. It happens very, very infrequently and can be corrected by simply press the home button and then jumping back into the game again.
Great retro game, lots of fun and easy to get into

This game is 3 games in total. One game is from the old Gameboy days and is fun but very basic. The middle game "Secret of Mana" is a great game with a descent story, very easy to follow and fun to play. I am only in the beginning of the third game but it looks good so far, but I am not sure about the character selection concept in the game.

Fun collection. Go back in time and experience rpg's without the real life type of graphics. Once you dive into this collection its hard to put down. Must have for fans of rpg's.

Sometimes, when a collection comes out for a series or franchise of games. Some of the original luster is lost in translation to a modern platform. However, with this Collection of Mana. No such thing occurs. With all three games provides. It finally gives a continuation to the Mana Saga that most fans (especially in North America) have been waiting for. The menus are pretty easy to navigate through. Plus, with the added features of save states and such. Will make these classic games a little easier for new players. However, as a veteran of the series. I would recommend going through these games as originally intended to get the full experience of their unique style of gameplay from the past.

This is a solid collection of some great RPG games. Please do not get confused here, this does not contain the remake of Secret of Mana. This has the remastered version, still a great game though. The package really doesn’t do much as far as features. The games are great for those who played them back in the day.

Three classic games ported right at a great price (on sale at least). If you've never played a 16 bit era Squaresoft RPG, do yourself a favor and pick this up. It's classic and well worth it.

The collection of Mana is (as implied by its very title) a compilation title containing the first three games in the "Mana" (or Seiken Densetsu aka Legend of the Holy Sword) series, with the third entry, Trials of Mana, being released in the West for the first time having been previously exclusive to Japan (and emulation users). The Mana series, like Final Fantasy, is generally unconnected between the entries with the only consistencies being the series themes of a Mana Sword, a Mana Tree, a Mana Goddess, and an everlasting fight against the forces who wish use the power of Mana for their own diabolical means. What makes this series unique besides its themes are its gameplay stylings which, back in the early 90's, were flag bearers in the Action-RPG genre. All actions happen in real-time, but time can be paused via the menus (which utilized a ring/clock-esque user interface) in order to assign items to use, weapons to equip, and magic to utilize.

Great collection of classics. If you have any affinity towards the mana games and want an easy way to play them all on your Switch then it's a no brainer. If you never really played any of these, wait for a sale and start with Secret of Mana (the 2nd game in the series). This is also the first time the 3rd Mana game has been released in English, and this rereleased version of Trials of Mana is incredibly better than the new 3d remake they just released. Subtracting a point because it feels like Square knows they can sell anything at whatever price to their fans (and they're unfortunately correct). But these games are great, the first one is definitely really old and might throw some of you off, but the other two are classics.

Collection of Mana includes three must-play games. They have beautiful art design, incredible soundtrack.Classic 16-Bit looks amazing on Switch
Playing Game Boy titles on Switch is fun. All three titles are great in their own right and offer wildly different gameplay experiences. I'm happy they combined these games together instead of selling them individually. I give this game collection 5 stars. I hope they create more 3 game collections.
