What can I say, except if you are a fan of the Mana series, this is definitely a must have for any Video Game collector! Collection of Mana, heck, even just Trials of Mana in the West, is a wet dream come true for me. If you decide to pick this up, your getting three wonderful games that you can play anywhere. Some extra features, like a museum with the series artwork, or a history lesson on the entire franchise, wouldn't have gone amiss, but we got something we never thought we'd get. If your a fan of RPG games, this is a must have for your collection!

A collection of 3 of the best Square games out there. You will enjoy these if you like Zelda and Action RPGs. Item arrived fast and in perfect condition.

The Collection of Mana is a 3-pack containing the first three games in the Mana series. Final Fantasy Adventure starts the game off kind of difficult, but gets easier later on when you start building up levels. The game doesn't help as much in trying to find out where to go next, but as long as you can look up a guide when you are stuck, you should be able to finish this game. Secret of Mana is one of the greatest games of all time. It's an RPG that has a great leveling system, including the weapons and magic. The music is great and the story is fantastic. This is the best game to play in this collection. The 3rd game, Seiken Densetsu 3, is finally getting an American release in this collection, and it takes this game to the next level. You can get new jobs and branch off those jobs to two different styles, a light and a dark side. The story is very good and the battle system is just as great as well.

The original Final Fantasy Legend released on gameboy is here. Final Fantasy Legend Secret of Mana in Japan. This game became secret of mana later. Also includes Secret of mana 2. Which was called Secret of Mana 1 on the SNES here. And the third game is an unreleased game never seen before here in the united states. This is the original SNES version. Trials of Mana is a remake of it. Great collection for fans of ARPGs. The music the gameplay. The weapons. The story. The exploration. This is the game that inspired many Action RPG's here and all over the world to make more games in the genre. Play this piece of gaming history for yourself.

I was mistaken when I purchased this Mana series game because I thought multiplayer would share multiple consoles like the DS consoles used to. I'm still not too familiar with the nomenclature of all the different types of gameplay that Nintendo has, so my lack of research is not Nintendo's fault. But you mean to tell me that it couldn't have been possible to make it possible? Local share is what was called I believe. Aside from that, everybody who is familiar with the series knows that this game is well worth the gameplay and time put in. They have great storylines and the retro graphics bring back nostalgia. Well worth the money at this time wentybukz

I was looking forward to rebuilding my physical collection for the nintendo Switch and this game was a great price and came swiftly.

Collection of Mana is a physical cart containing the first three games in the Seiken Densetsu (Mana) series: Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu 1) - Originally released on the Gameboy and was an action RPG spinoff of the Final Fantasy series. So it has chocobos and even some sprite work from the old NES FF games. Was remade on the PlayStation Vita as Adventures of Mana. Secret of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 2) - Originally released on the Super Nintendo. Action RPG featuring a full three character party. Combat is a little clunky, but still holds up decently well. Was remade on the PlayStation 4 recently. Trials of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3) - Originally released on the Super Famicom (Super Nintendo) in Japan and nowhere else. Still an action RPG featuring a three character party that you create from a pool of six characters and depending on who you pick will alter the story. Currently being remade on PS4 and Switch (though the remake loses the multiplayer functionality). This collection marks the first time Trials of Mana/Seiken Densetsu 3 has ever been officially released in the West, which if you're a longtime fan of the series, is a huge deal since it's one of the best ones. The price is a little high for what could be regarded as 3 very old games, but when you consider how much work had to go into localizing the third game into English, it's much easier to justify. I grew up playing this series and to be able re-experience it on the Switch is such a treat. A couple of the games even have multiplayer (Secret supports 3 players, while Trials supports 2). If you like old school action RPG's, you're in for a treat.

Good for old school fans with nostalgia, I personally preferred the remake.

As a kid I didn’t understand this game at all but as an adult, revisiting this game was nice. The music is awesome, story and gameplay as well. Kind of difficult game for me since I’m not use to these classic games but they’re still fun to enjoy.

This is a solid collection of three classic games. I had never even played Final Fantasy Adventure before, so that alone made it worth a buy. But as many others have pointed out, this is the first time that Trials of Mana has been released in the west, which makes this a must-buy collection for retro and JRPG fans. As good as these games are, though, being RPGs, they aren't just the kind of games that you pick up and play. So, I think that Square Enix dropped the ball in a big way by not including any kind of instruction manuals for each game. You're given a basic button map, but that's it, so you're likely to find yourself pausing the games in mid-play to search Google for how you're supposed to do certain things. That's how Trials of Mana has been for me, which is sad, because otherwise it's been a pretty compelling game to play. I also have some regrets that no bonus features were included like historical notes, concept art, sound selection, etc. You get the three games, and that's it. For forty dollars, it would have been nice to have some bonus features thrown in in addition to the games. I bought this game on cartridge because the physical release is a limited one, and the collector in me can't pass up something like that. If you're like me, then you should snap it up while it's still available (although it will remain available digitally on the Switch's eShop). The reversible cover art is a nice touch, and the games themselves will be enough to keep you occupied for a pretty long time.

This game is a compilation of three titles in Square’s “Mana” series. Included are “Final Fantasy Adventure” (JP: Seiken Densetsu), originally from the Game Boy in 1991; “Secret of Mana” (JP: Seiken Densetsu 2), from the SNES in 1993, and “Trials of Mana” (JP: Seiken Densetsu 3), released in 1995 for the Super Famicom. Notably, this is the first time that SD3/Trials has been officially released in the West. The Collection would be worth it for that alone. I would encourage anyone to get it. The fact that three-player co-op is included in Secret and Trials is great. The only reason I dinged a star is that neither “Sword of Mana” nor “Adventures of Mana”, the two remakes of Seiken 1, are included in the collection and really should have been. Even with that, you should consider this a 4.5 star rating. If you like RPGs or games like the Legend of Zelda, you owe it to yourself to get this game. The art is great, the music is typical Square awesomeness, and the gameplay is top-notch. Encourage the completion of series that didn’t come to us originally. Get this collection.

I've been a fan of the Mana series ever since Secret of Mana on the SNES and I was very excited to hear about this compilation. Represented are the first three games in the series, which are the best ones in my opinion. Final Fantasy Adventure, a Gameboy game, is a little rough to play today, but it has its charm. Secret of Mana ups the ante and has an even bigger world, fun weapons/spells, wonderful music, and co-op play. Trails of Mana was never localized prior to now, but I'm glad it was because the branching stories with the six playable characters and class upgrade system make for great replay value. There are also some extras included, such as a way to listen to the soundtracks of each game in the menu, and that's nice, but I would have liked more, such as more artwork. My only real complaint is that while you can have 3 players for Secret of Mana, you can only have 2 with Trials of Mana (despite having 3 characters on-screen). That and some known bugs in Trials of Mana were not fixed. Still, this is a must own for action RPG fans!
