This is not a review of the game itself because we couldn't play. Xbox One S (or X) is not equal to Xbox Series S (or X). We bought this thinking S worked, but that was not specific enough research apparently. Our fault, but what an absolutely horrible naming convention. And they don't make it easy to find out the model you have either. There should be a warning "This product will not work on Xbox One consoles" even though it downloads to them.

Got my code no problem however been trying to play for the last week and a half and havent even finished a quarter. Game constantly crashes and sometimes even shuts my entire xbox off. Not acceptable at all.

It's been so long that it's hard NOT to get excited for this game. There are some bugs and team builder would be nicer if it was IN game and not on a website, but overall this game is fantastic. The presentation is on point, the challenges of playing a road game at Kyle Field or Bryant-Denny stadium are VERY real. The graphics are good and it is similar to Madden but doesn't feel like the exact same game. I'm excited to import my character into Madden!

Gameplay is fantastic. Takes getting used to new kicking and passing controls, but is a lot of fun. People with the code issue, im not sure about as i ordered mine direct.

“Available soon after purchase. Redemption information is availble in you email and your order details.” Best Buy this is false, why do you not note that digital downloads are available 24-48 hours after your purchase. People buy products from you and then dont receive them for 1-2 days after purchase. That needs to be mentioned somewhere when your selling a product, It cant be proved in yoir order details after you already bought the non-refundable item by stating, “Digitally delivered items are usually available soon after purchase but could take longer for certain items.” Thata not right and needs to be corrected.

I am very disappointed with my experience on this purchase. I was under the impression that this would be a fairly quick process. However, instead I waited for over and hour and a half, and only after speaking/texting with a representative did I receive the code to retrieve the game. I asked to cancel the order and because the code was “conveniently” emailed as I was communicating with a representative I could not cancel my order. I would give it a negative rating but that was not a choice. I do not recommend purchasing any games online, even though it’s a bit pricier, purchasing through the Xbox Store worked much easier and faster.

Best Buy advertised a digital download availability date of 7/18. However, today is 7/18 and there is no code. After multiple transfers via chat and phone calls, the website was updated to say 7/19 delivery date and they cannot provide a code until that date. However, even right now if you add this item to cart it still says digital delivery date of 7/18, which we know is incorrect. Hoping that at 11PM tonight (as I was told) I get the code in my email, but we will see.

No code was sent, and there is no option for a refund. Best Buy support said they would get back in 48 hours. That completely negates the early access and reason I purchased this.

It’s been 24 hours and I still have not been emailed a code … and nobody can help me

Seeing as no codes were received by previous reviewers, I am glad i purchased the physical copy. Lol
