I’ve seen nutty professor, and thought it was funny. This is like Eddie Murphy’s first foray into dressing up as separate multiple characters. That was my favorite part, as was just the ridiculousness of some of the characters.

I just recently started getting in John Landis (not sure what took so long), but I've been enjoying every movie I've seen by him. Eddie Murphy is great in this movie.

This is in my top 5 favorite movies and is my #1 favorite comedy. Alittle ahead of it's time and very clever. I wish comedy was this organic in movies nowadays.

Eddie Murphy and his co-stars give another great performance as usual and I do like the tie in to his previous Movie "Trading Places" and for the record I wish they had used that opportunity to make a direct sequel to that movie especially if it took the "bad guys form the last movie who we see in this one and had them help the "good guys"

My absolute favorite Eddie Murphy comedy finally on 4K, and in an exclusive steelbook to boot? Yes, please. I’ve see this flick literally a hundred plus times since it’s initial release in the 80s, but to see it again in UHD on my 70-inch 4K flatscreen with crisp hi-def digital surround sound updates the viewing experience to a brand new level. But honestly, nothing compares to when I first saw it in an actual movie theater on opening night in 1988 projected on 35mm film with traditional Dolby sound. Old vs new, either experience has the most fundamental thing in common... Eddie Murphy delivering not one but four of the best performances of his career.
