If you haven't seen it before, this is pretty much classic Arnie action here. Cheesy one liners, a simple plot, and lots and lots of Arnold killin folks, not much more to it. A great movie all around with a few very memorable lines, so if you haven't checked it out I really recommend it. Now as for the case itself, presumably the reason you're going to buy this version instead of the regular release. It's a decent MetalPak, pretty basic overall, nothing fancy here, just a simple design and the disc, not even a digital copy or anything. The lighter colored spine looks rather unusual with my other Steelbooks since around 95% of them have darker colors, but it's still a nice case. Well worth the low price.

This steelbook includes a new MPEG4 AVC encode and a few gory images. If you are a Schwarzenegger fan then this item is a must buy! Commando (1985) is a classic is every sense of the word. This plot is very simplistic but is a non-stop thrill ride from beginning to end. It is literally one action set piece to another. Make sure to put up the following masterpieces if you haven' already; The Terminator (1984), The Running Man (1987), Total Recall (1990), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Last Action Hero (1993) and True Lies (1994).

I can finally retire my Commando DVD! After years of thinking the bare-bones Blu-Ray was all we were ever going to get, Best Buy announced a new version of Commando with the slightly longer, mostly gorier "director's cut" and all of the extras from the DVD it came from. The metal packaging is a nice touch, but it's great to have both versions available on Blu-Ray.

I hadn’t seen Commando since I was 10 or 11 yrs old. When i noticed the Blu was only $3.99, I had to add it to my collection. Very pleased with the look of the film-it looks great. Commando IS still as good as I remember..in fact, better than I remember. Why it took me so long to revisit the movie is beyond me-but I’m glad I did

Now this is an example of a true Best Buy Exclusive. This is the only way to get the director's cut of Commando on blu. And they have now remastered the extended footage so that it seamlessly blends in (the special edition DVD, seemed to look like an old VHS whenever it showed the extended footage). This is a great purchase!

This movie isnt an academy award winning film but its definitely something fun to watch with the boys or to have in the background while youre playing some cards in the basement. The bluray doesnt come with anything but the film itself but thats why its got such a low price point. If youre looking for extras check out the metal case version but expect to pay about 10 bucks more.

When I was young, I watched this movie nearly everyday during the summer when we were out of school. I lobed it and it still holds up to this day! Arnold is a beast

Arnold Schwarzenegger delivers a knockout performance as a retired US Army Colonel who springs into action to save his kidnapped daughter by bunch of mercenaries. This is definitely one of my favorite movies from Arnie himself.

Commando is a guilty pleasure movie that fans of 1980s action movies will definitely want to pick up. This new special edition ports over all of the extra features previously found on the deluxe DVD release and more importantly includes the unrated director's cut of the film - featuring the extended tool shed sequence. The disc looks and sounds great too!

This movie is another explosive Arnold classic, filled with great one-liners, intense action and fun characters, this is a movie not to be missed by anyone. This blu is disappointing with special features. but in the sound and picture quality department, it's a home run. For the price I got it for ($5), it was definitely worth it.

This metalpak is beautiful! Great artwork front, back & inside! contains both UNCUT & theatrical versions of the film. Got this for $7.99 only @ bestbuy exclusive! 1 of my favorite Arnold films! A must own in my collection!

I knew this came out in Europe and happened upon it on BB's website and saw it was an exclusive. Bought it ASAP. Compared to the DVD I had, the picture and audio quality were a revelation. Has fun extras and option of both cuts. It's a straight forward, sense aware action film with great comic relief. Great package. Highly recommended!

It's commando. A classic. The tranfer on this is pretty good, but not great. Obviously much better then the DVD, but for a blue-ray it seemed a little soft. Sound was nice and it was nice to see a he 1080p copy of the movie. I'm glad I picked it up ( from the 5.99 bin) was a great value. But I would only pick it up from there for that price. Anyhow 4 out of 5 stars.

I love this action flick with Arnold going after the bad guys in the end as a one man army! This is the film where he throws the circular saw blade at a villain like it was a throwing star. Wack! Not the best Arnold movie, but definitely fun and entertaining and the sound and picture is great in HD.

This is Arnold Schwarzenegger's answer to the that same year of Stallone's Rambo: First Blood Part 2(1985). This is pure Arnold at his best along with his famous trademark line, "I'LL BE BACK!". Loads of action from start to finish. This is Arnold in his prime. Pure 80's action before all those CGI effects of the 90's and later.

I'm sure everyone already knows how awesome this movie is so I'll spare the review. The cover art on my case is different than what is pictured in the image above. It's more of a full body shot of Arnold. The disc itself actually has him shooting the rocket launcher on it.

This is one of my favorite action movies staring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lot's of action with Arnold, an ex commando, going after the bad guys who kidnapped his young daughter. Rae Dawn Chong co-stars as (at first) an unwilling partner to the commando's quest.

This was another movie I watched growing up and was super excited to find in the movie bin at Best Buy. I had to pick it up. Like most 80's action shoot-em-up's the action is great, the realism is non-existent. But, that's not the point. The action hero always saves the day!

Back when Arnold was just starting out, he had a few Movies under his belt, but was still pretty green. If you love Action, Guns, Explosions, and classic Arnold Lines, you'll love this Movie! The MetalPak Packaging is awesome too, it's a great way to freshen up an older Movie!

Commando sits near the top of Schwarzenegger canon. The movie isn't that good, but it's GREAT! Thing blow up, bad guys die, Schwarzenegger throws out Bondesque quips. There are no special features to speak of, but you're going to want Commando in your collection.
