Case was smashed in. Luckily the DVD was still okay.

NOT BAD QUALITY FOR OLD MOVIE. ARNULD S LOOK SO YOUNG

This movie is not as good as I remembered, I was just adding some movies to my collection for a rainy day. Ordered it on line. The price was right. I have ordered many DVD's from Best Buy, never had any problems and got them fast.

This isn't a great movie but its fun and the price was low. If you like action films this is a decent film and a great value.

Hilarious and full of great action scenes. Schwarzenegger is incredible in the lead role. The blu-ray has some great special features and a great HD transfer of the film. Very worth the upgrade from DVD/VHS.

Commando is one of those films that is so absolutely stupid that it makes you laugh out loud the whole way through the film. The funniest thing is that it appears as though director Mark Lester and crew actually thought they were making a top-notch action film that was supposed to kind of "not take itself too seriously". Well, not taking oneself too seriously and not taking oneself seriously at all are two completely different things, and the result is a film that is so absolutely ridiculous that one can't even begin to wonder who was really in charge of this production because it seems to be more slapstick comedy than 'pumped up' action. Rumor has it that Arnold Schwarzenegger was very disappointed when 'Commando' was blown away at the box office by 'Rambo: First Blood Part II', apparently feeling 'Commando' was a "much better film". Well, it wasn't, and this Director's Cut dvd will help show you why, all while you laugh your way along. The anamorphic transfer is excellent as are the bonus features, something every 'Commando' fan should have in their collection!

4 of 5 stars for the Arnold action movie Commando. This movie is firmly set in the mid-1980's. Arnold is young and Alyssa Milano is a child. The story is simple and the action great. Ex-military Arnold learns that the members of his old troop are being killed. Eventually, they kidnap his daughter (Milano) trying to force Arnold into doing a task. Well, Arnold goes Commando to hunt down where they are holding her and to get her back. Armed with knives, guns, granades and a rocket launcher, he goes into their lair. An easy/basic plot, not much acting/characters to get in the way of the action. Just good old hand-to-hand Arnold. Oh, forgot, he had a few claymores along for the ride. A fun action movie.
