commando is a pretty good action movie that stars arnold it is not his best film but still pretty good action movie and this release of the blu-ray you get two versions of the film you get for the first time on blu-ray the extended version and some extras also on it so well worth buying and also it come in a metal pack witch is pretty nice to so if you are a fan of the movie or a arnold fan than i would pick it up now i just wish they would release true lies on blu-ray than i can have all of arnold's good action movies bc that is the only one of his action films that has not been release on blu-ray as of yet

This is one of my favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger films. This blu-ray is the remastered edition that was released by MGM in early 2014. It is definitely an upgrade to the old version with the lesser PQ. For the price, it is a no-brainer for an upgrade. It's always a good time when watching this film.

While I owned the previous blu ray of Commando, I always held onto the dir. cut DVD for that version of the film I thought would never be released in 1080p. Finally...it's here and it looks great, and can be had for a very very reasonable price ($7.99 at the time of this review).

Arnold Schwarzenegger is by far the best action hero ever. 1985's Commando film in Blu-Ray is outstanding. If you are a fan of Arnold or just cheesy but good 80's action flicks make sure you pick this up. These days the Blu-Ray for this is usually $2 or $3 more than standard DVD so don't hesitate and make sure you grab this.

Excellent movie for having the good guys win and getting rid of the bad guys. Highly recommended - classic Arnold.

I grew up with this movie and while it's a stupid movie Arnold makes it what it is.

Who Has Not Seen Commando It's Such A Great Movie!!!

I bought this for the nostalgia value. It's one of those movies that you can just laugh at but genuinely enjoy at the same time, like a guilty pleasure. And of course, Arnold delivers some classic one-liners.

Commando is a film that is seemed great when I was younger, but re-watching it now many years later, it's not as appealing. This exclusive set is really cool though for fans of the film.

Strange movie, overall not great, but enjoyable enough to watch. Comically bad in some areas, but full of early Arnold excess.

This is bad, but in a fun way. Stupid but not boring.

This Blue-Ray version of 'Commando' presents image quality that is nearly identical to the standard dvd director's cut, the only question being - where are all the bonus features that are on the regular dvd? Perhaps they're hiding somewhere, but they're certainly nowhere to be found on this disc, which isn't worth buying in my opinion.
