Great for recovery after a hard days work and constant standing as well as after a workout. easy to use easy to setup. Charge the unit and your ready to go. Love the fact that no cables are attached so your not connected and immobilize. Carrying case is a bonus. Love it

Overall, the boots perform as they should. I wish the power cord to charge was a little longer. There could be an improvement to the mechanics and the operation.

These work so well, especially if you have lymphedema or lipedema. Well made, several settings and easy to use. Holds a charge for a long time. I got them on sale, good savings. I recommend them if you feel you need compression boots.

These compex wireless compression boots are wonderful. They are very portable. They last a good long time on the battery. They are quiet. Most importantly they make my legs feel great after a good workout.

    Ineffective and uncomfortable

I had previously tried the more expensive athlete endorsed Normatec and was hoping this product would provide a similar experience for slightly less cost, be hose free with improved portability. I was wrong and largely disappointed. The Compex is very uncomfortable and the air compression feature is mediocre and ineffective feeling more like a localized squeeze instead of the full circumferential compression like the Normatec. I have average inseam (32") and the knee cutout on these landed on the top of my shins without the ability to adjust them and could not walk in them at all. This also left the top portion of my calves without any contact to the air chamber. I thought I may have received a small sized version but learned these only come in one size. I guess for a child or an inseam of 28" it might be ok. The lower zipper head lands on the top of the foot and when the air compression comes on the zipper digs painfully in to the top of the foot. The controllers on the sides are hard to reach and control once you have them on. The controllers are hard to figure out intuitively. The two sides are not synchronized making the experience feel weird. Overall at a cost of $600 this is a huge disappointment. It is being returned and learned a lesson that sometimes it is best to spend the extra money and get the industry leading product.

Great recovery compression boot. The Wireless feature is a winner without tethered to a tube or a power chord. You have an option to plug in to recharge and still be able to use.

Love these for lymph drainage and varicose veins

Bought these for me, but my brother had knee surgery and we have been using them on him! They feel so good when the balloons fill creating the right amount of pressure to the lower and upper legs. The lower leg zipper compartment is big enough for large legs, and for skinny legs the higher the PSI maintains a tight squeeze. The velcro on the upper legs is also good for large or smaller legs. I could wear these all day, I love the squeezing feeling. I know it’s amazing for lymph drainage. Drink lots of water after and you can feel your body detox!

Good idea/concept. Did feel slightly refreshed. Hard to spend $600 on it seeing as I dont use everyday. Did end up returning product but they were easy to use and charge. Very portable as opposed to the ones that have to plug into the wall.

Compex AYRE Tuesday, September 15, 2020 12:40 PM The Compex AYRE are an excellent piece of medical equipment for any serious professional athletes or the die-hard fitness nut. Those who set out on a healthy lifestyle and train, you already know you have to invest in good technology for recovery and to avoid PT. After a run or leg day, they made my legs feel rejuvenated. I immediately felt a difference using compression boots vs just stretching. The best thing about these is the fact they are 100% portable and do not rely on a power source outside of the onboard battery to function. You can take it on a field, in the gym, or to work for days where you are on your feet for long hours. In my office, I wear these to get my legs ready after a workout. .:How to Use:. There isn't much out there regarding how to use these things. The company would benefit greatly by teaching users via videos on YouTube. At the time of this review, information on these is scarce so you have to really be good at figuring things out to get up and running. The AYRE are portable compression boots that operate on two independent batteries lasting anywhere from 1-1.5 hours in my experience. You simply strap on the medical-grade boots, press and hold power, and select either program F1 or F2. There are only two programs you can set, so that would be something to improve. To use, press and hold the power button and wait for the pumps to start working. During your initial trial, take time to write down what your chambers are set to and whether you need more or less compression. Soon, you will find what you like through trial and error. My settings are C1-120, c2-120 C3-110 C4-100 to give you an idea what you should end up with but your numbers should be different. Press and hold the set button to change chambers and click once to set the values for each chamber. You will spend some time adjusting the chambers to your liking and needs but after that… just press power and you are good to go. After you figure it out, the interface is quite simple to use but I found it hard to tell if I was doing it right. Here is ANOTHER recommendation for making these better. Include a screen of some sort to be able to display something to let the user know what is happening. You You are unable to communicate what needs to be done or how to proceed which is a huge turn off for new not-so-techy users. There is not timer or screen to let you know what's happening, but I will tell you just sit back and enjoy until you are finished. It seems these are on an endless cycle until you turn them off.

I love this device, but I'm bummed that 120 mmhg is the highest it can go. I wish it can go to at least 150 mmHg. Regardless, I'll still use it and it gets the job done.

These are absolutely great for the athlete or active person in your house. I use these almost everyday to work out the lactic acid in my legs. Very happy with the purchase and I would encourage everyone who is active to look at purchasing these.
