I was excited to try these compression boots, as I do a lot of stationary bike exercise with high resistance, and get sore muscles because of it. Whats in the box: Carry case, the boots, quick start guide and a charging cable. use: pretty easy. charge them up, strap them on, and press the power button. I will say though, the user guide was a little lackluster and I was a little confused on how exactly to use them. Once you figure it out, its easy. Hold the power button for a couple seconds to turn them on, and repeat to turn them off. There are 4 air chambers in each boot, and you can adjust the pressure for each of them individually. There are two modes: each chamber fills up separately and in order, holds for a bit, then deflates. The other mode fills them up at the same time, deflates and repeats. Overall: while I do feel some relief, It is not life changing. Do not expect the feeling of a massage, it is just "on/off" pressure. There are no guides for how long to wear them, so that is on your own merit. 15 or so minutes seems ok, but I don't know if I should go longer or not. In the end, they do provide some relief, but they are a little over priced for my liking. More documentation on use of them would be nice, as I was confused in the beginning.

I have tried the other major brand, but due to my past experience with Compex, I bought these instead. They are also a fraction of the price First off, the Velcro fasteners on the thighs give a superior compression. The unit also has independent battery packs, so you are not tied to a wall socket, however I would not recommend walking in them Directions are simple and clear and they simply work! Great job Compex and DJO (parent company who does medical braces)

first of all, these came to me free of charge for my honest review through the best buy tech insider program. I have suffered with poor leg circulation and just plain old tired legs for some time now. I guess age plays a role it these things, but it can be frustrating. When I had an opportunity to try out the Compex compression boots I jumped at the chance. These boots are really easy to use, come preset at the mid level and only require charging and your ready to go. There are 4 zones that these boots compress and 2 settings that allow you to choose what parts of your leg the boots work on. The boots come set at 50, but i find 70 is perfect for my taste. Each leg operates independant of the other, so you could set each leg differently to meet your needs. If I could change anything, I think it would be nice if these offered heat along with the compression action. For me personally, I would also like a way to make both legs synchronize their action, but that really isn't a big deal. If you suffer from leg issues, these Compex compression boots may provide some much needed relief.

I was very excited to get these boots to try; I have circulation issues, and after long exercise sessions, my legs are pretty achy and sore. These seemed like they would be perfect for me. Unfortunately, they are very cumbersome to get on, even though I am 6'3, and, the worse part about it was the foot area does NOT open up, and getting my size 14 feet into the foot area was almost impossible. Its really only air compression, filling up and releasing, so, after using them for a few days, they have been sitting in the corner, waiting for me to try and figure out how to use them more effectively.. Beware if you have large feet, these will be tough for you to use..

Ok. Putting it on and off is not as convenient as thought. Programming is simple but takes a bit to figure out.
