Thank you Comply!! I would have returned my BeatsX for having piercing s sounds on words and voices and also leaving voices not sounding full and lifelike because I listen to online lectures for an online masters degree hours everyday. BUT these make my BeatsX sound as good as some of my $150 overear headphones now. The sharp s sounds now have room to spread out and echo in the room where the recorder person is talking instead of hurting my ears and help me image his or her location, and the bass in music punches now and voices are full, balanced, and natural sounding. And they’re so comfy in my ears—I literally wear them for like 8 hours until the battery goes from full to dead. I usually wear a pair for about a month until the noise isolation gets lower than I like. If you’re going on a plane or need to really focus, get out a fresh pair and they work about as well as my Bose QC II on most frequencies. I keep a pair in a little plastic jar specifically for mowing the yard and running in the heat because they need to dry out after, but still work fine and stay in fine for me while sweaty. Anyway, don’t consider if you should get these—I can’t belive Apple doesn’t include a pair of these with their BeatsX headphones already, so everyone can become addicted?!
