Perfectly Awesome easy to go... ride and warm 1000feet reach since before i will walk tru my car just to manual iy...but now easy warm automated start. Thanka to PG the auto tech guy his good friendly and reliable service he explained every steps on the vehicles on what you had.

Does not come with installation kit, harness or installation manual. In the box you get only naked modules and remote fob that's it. !!!!NO T-Harness!!!! Included!! They expect you to give your car to their installation team to get it installed in your car !!!NO WAY!!! Compustart website is just a primitive ugly set of useless links. You expect to find any manuals there? Fugget about it!

Dont get any other remote start if your installing on 2017 ram 1500! Viper sucks! Had it in for a few months with nothing but problems, wouldn't unlock doors, sometimes would shut off randomly and it costed more then the compustar. Now that I have the compustar it works flawlessly, never had a issue once! Great buy and was the cheaper one! Great distance with the remote and you can program it to your factory key fob. Very satisfied with this one :)

i considered briefly going with Viper, but found this unit to be on sale so I decided to try it. It was a good choice. I was able to purchase a two-way remote and transmitters on the spot and have the Geek Squad add them to the unit during the initial install, which was very helpful (you really want two-way if you plan to start the vehicle out of its line-of-sight). Installation on my 2014 Jeep took less than two hours. The unit has awesome range - I am able to start my vehicle from inside a computer room in my office! The unit has a pit stop function that I have quickly become addicted to as I make quick stops in the morning for breakfast and don't have to shut the car down or leave it running and a target for thieves. The unit was installed expertly and wires for the antenna were hidden exceptionally well. This system is fully upgrade-able as well, and I am considering adding 4G connectivity for the unit soon. I would recommend this system for anyone who is buying a remote start for the first time, saving some money over more expensive systems without sacrificing a path to upgrade later.

Works great, had it about 2 years now. BB guy reco'd this over another remote starter I had initially purchased that had been getting a lot of returns for not working, so I'm glad I went this route and have had no issues.

I wanted a remote starter that would work with my car's factory remotefob. I actually went in to purchase another brand that was on sale, but the installer was very knowledgeable and talked me into this brand saying that, for $50 more, it was a much better unit and he had no recalls on it. He installed it within an hour because he had had a cancellation from another customer. I’ve only had it for three days, but it does what it supposed to do, so I’m happy!

We bought this item for my son's car as it sits out of the garage and he loves the opportunity to start and warm the car on cold mornings. We upgraded the install to the two way remote and gives him confidence the car started and locked. Range advertises to be 3000 feet but obviously there can be some interference If he is in the basement of the school and the car is out in the parking lot, it does not always get the signal. I would say that 95% of the time it gets a positive confirmation and the range works like it is supposed to. Install was great. The guys at Best Buy had it done in about 90 minutes and even worked with us to include a couple harnesses that saved some money on the install. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend it to be purchased and used on your car.

I was surprised on how easy the whole transaction was. I bought and scheduled online and dropped it off one night and picked up the next it's simple one button operation hold for 3 seconds and done. I do believe you can wait but leaving it off was more convenient for me. I just leave my heater on and it's nice and toasty when I get in. The range is fantastic it's longer than the starter built into my other car. Overall easy to use was shown at store how to operate and a great price. I would buy again.

Purchased this item for my wife Christmas 2022. She loves it. Starts the car while she is getting ready for work and when she gets in her car it is warm and snow or ice is melted off the windows so she can just put her belt on and be on her way. We both like very much the engine kill feature. If someone manages to get in while the car is running it stops as soon as it is put in gear and wont start again without the key.

Install was super quick and easy by Best Buy. I’ve only had this for a month but I love it. It works well and has been great in our recent cold weather.

Very simple to use and it has a long range that also works well even through “obstacles” such as walks, etc. I am very satisfied with tjis product!

While researching these, I found a lot that had bells and whistles and apps and two way communication... and expensive. I just wanted something simple, cheap, and works great. This is it. It starts by truck, boom all I need. It'a a bonus that along with the fob, geek squad wired to my actual h-key of my vehicle, so I can start it from that as well.

Great purchase. I got it for my daughter and she love it. Especially in winter. Very nice gift.

Just got this installed today. Works great so far, and was pleasantly surprised that there was a way to also use the remote starter via my current remote locking device. Hoping this lasts for as long as we have the car, but so far so good. Much cheaper than purchasing through the dealership.
