LOVE LOVE LOVE this product. Scheduling installation through Best Buy was simple, the installation itself was less than 2 hours and they were able to pair remote-start with my key fob in addition to the 2 fobs included with this remote starter set. I've been using this product for about a month and I would HIGHLY recommend!

I purchased Compustar for my 2023 Honda CRV EXL at the recommendation of installer Nick at Best Buy Manahawkin. I’m totally impressed. Nick was spot on with the projected install time of 3hrs as I also purchased the 2way upgrade 2WG15 with Drone Mobile. The only downside is this system & the other Compustar packages sold at Best Buy allows for a max run time of 35 minutes. Certainly not a deal breaker for me as I can just hit the run time reset command. Nick also connected the Aux 1 command for rear defrost.

I couldn't;t be much happier with my decision to get this remote starter system installed on my 2023 Toyota Tacoma SR, Access Cab, 4x4, 4 cylinder, automatic transmission. Being the base model Tacoma remote start was not an option from the factory. Good thing because this system works better than the Toyota system save for the lack of ability to remote start via an app on your cellphone. A big bonus, and one that I did not know existed until the Best Buy installer showed me, was that you can use the keyless entry button on the Toyota key to activate the remote start. I am so happy to not have to carry the fobs that came with the Compustar system! Not that they are very big, but why have an extra fob on your key if you don't need it. Another bonus over the Toyota factory remote start system is that the engine does not shut off when you open the door, which must be done with the physical key as the unlock button on the key is disabled when in remote start mode. For cars with the push button start I think the engine will shut off when the door is opened.

Great system and super affordable. Does not void the vehicle warranty either.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my wife. She has a 2018 Honda HRV and the included install was pretty quick (about 2 hours.) She loves it and expects to love it even more once winter hits. It can expand to have a longer range or integrat with your phone, but the base is perfect for her needs

**A Disappointing Encounter with Remote Starter Purchase for My 2013 Scion tC** I recently embarked on what I thought would be a straightforward mission—purchasing a remote starter for my 2013 Scion tC. Little did I know, this experience would turn into a nightmare. From the moment I walked into the store, the customer service was lackluster at best. I had to wait an excruciatingly long time just to get someone's attention. When I finally did, the sales representative seemed disinterested and unknowledgeable about the product I wanted. After finally settling on a remote starter, the installation process was even worse. The technician informed me that the Viper brand I initially chose didn't include the app it advertised on the box. Frustrated, I switched to the Compustar system, believing that the app would work seamlessly once installed. However, upon attempting to register the product, I was told I needed another device installed. This meant yet another trip back to the shop, along with additional fees that they aren't responsible for. I forgot to mention in addition to the ridiculously priced remote starter, there is a $100 a yr subscription for the app. It doesn't say that on the box nor do the employees mention that either. This experience was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I expected better service and quality for such a significant purchase. I would strongly advise others to do thorough research and consider alternative providers before committing to have service done at Best Buy. As far as the product goes it works some issues turning on sometimes aside from that somewhat satisfied.

Works just the way i need it to. Also having the second remote helped when my keys got locked in the car. Really easy to use. Only issue i had was in Duluth MN when the weather was -20 and it didn’t work but I also barely worked so I get

Great product.. locks,unlocks,starts vehicle as it should.. local installation was not available so had to travel about an hour away... which was no big deal was planning a little get away anyway... the install was quick, took them an hour an a half to do... very friendly ... very happy with product and installation...

Well priced and works as designed. Most remote start systems I have looked up are around 400-500$. This one was well below and had a discount. Booking an appt online and everything was seamless. Works well using a simple 1 button system. Would recommend!

Had to give up a key to make it work on a Scion Ia but the installation tech informed us we can get it back if we ever need it, though the Remote Start will no longer work if we do. The Remote Starter worked as advertised. Easy to use!

My 2012 Nissan Rogue did not have an remote start. I really LOVE this remote start add on. The installers were very informative before and after installation. It comes with 2 remote starters and they also found a ways to link my original car remote to the new system.
