The remote start has worked great so far. It’s nice that it comes with the key chain remote but they also program the original remote to be able to auto start the car.

So happy I got it. It's simple & works exactly as it should. The service tech guys at Best Buy were great & had me all set up in no time.

I've had 3 of these Compustar units installed at this point. Never had an issue with any of them. Range is fantastic. Highly recommended.

First- don’t order online! Don’t order through a staff member who doesn’t install them… it was a down right MESS for me to get everything fixed before even getting the appointment… Go in to the store, and have an installer assist you. No matter what anyone says! With that said, this is a good remote starter. It’s not perfect, there’s no telling if the car turned on or not, and it sometimes requires nothing in its way, but I got this to start the car on winter mornings so it serves its purpose. When at a store, and hitting remote start, sometimes it works and sometimes not. I would recommend whatever the installer suggests, for me it was this one, as they’re the ones that have to fix it if there’s issues, so they’ll suggest what’s going to be less trips back lol.

installed quickly and works as written on the box. Having a little trouble with new remotes, but original remote works great

Work great, took some getting use to but once you figure it out you don’t know how you ever went without.

We bought this remote start for our daughter who is in college. She absolutely loves standing inside our house or campus building to start her car to get it warmed up on cold winter days. On hot sunny days, she enjoys getting into an air conditioned car. Very easy to use and not one issue after several months of use.

Installation was fast and efficient the starter works great so far it’s only been a couple of weeks, but I’m happy.

This was a gift for my MIL. We are pleased with the price and the fact that installation is being included. I received the same unit 2 yrs ago and it has worked perfectly.

This remote starter is working great! I bought it for my son who just had a baby and parks his car outside ...he says it's a game changer! The installation was quick and the technician was really helpful explaining all the steps.

I purchased this "Compustar" remote starter and had it installed the following week by a Best Buy technician. So far so good, no problems or issues with this starter yet, but it has only been a weeks. The last one I purchased through Best Buy was about 14 years ago. It was not a "Compustar" Brand it was a "Viper" Brand. They told me (in the store) that they now recommend the Compustar brand because they were having issues with the Viper brand. I told the salesman that I was surprised to hear this because I NEVER had any issues or problems with the Viper (for about 14 years of using it)! I sold that vehicle with the 2 remotes and they still worked for the buyer. I had to purchase this new remote starter for my new car. I only hope this one lasts as long as my last one!!!
