I received a car starter last Christmas and love it. My daughter REALLY wanted a car starter after she realized how great and convenient it is for me (especially in the winter)!! It's a pleasure to shop at Best Buy!!

And the guys installing the system were very helpful and made sure i was comfortable with using it beforw i left the store.

Had I known this is how we were going to be treated I wouldn’t have done business again with Best Buy, and no one with a brain can answer our questions about this remote starter we purchased

Poor customer service - still waiting on install

Insallation was canceled due to sick staff and i was instructed to call back to set up new appointment but they don't call back. I've called over a dozen times and I've left multiple messages and nothing. Now i'm getting notifications that if I don't pick up the starter it's gonna be refunded and put back. It's absolutely ridiculous that I have to chase down the service I paid for. I'll never use them for any other car installation ever again....if they ever even do what I paid for in the first place.

I was told the day before my appointment that "the tech that is scheduled that day is not certified to do that install." So not only did you guys screw up by scheduling it on a day that might not work, but you have techs working there that are not certified? Well, let me come back to this. Not only did you just cancel my appointment, but your guys also lied to me, saying that the "Compustar" remote start I had bought was not going to be the best fit and that the "Viper" would be a "much better" fit. Your guys also somehow tried to put this on me and told me that I would need to come in and reschedule an appointment. When I came in to reschedule my appointment, I was told by one of your workers that the tech who was scheduled to do my install either does one of two things when confronted with a problem like this: either make the job easier for himself or just not do the job at all. The technician they were referring to is Calvin. Not only that, but Calvin is the one who called me and canceled my appointment because he said the tech that day isn’t certified to do the work. Calvin is the tech who was scheduled that day. So he called me and canceled my appointment that was with him because he didn’t want to do a "hard" job. I do not care if it’s a hard job; I had already purchased the remote start that included the install. That was $300+ dollars, so him just canceling my appointment is incredibly frustrating because he did not want to do the job. I genuinely have never felt so insulted and upset with a company before. I will and have continued to tell all my friends and family to never do any business with Best Buy or with Geek Squad. You guys gave me the hardest time, made this extremely difficult, and a painful experience. The guys over at Geek Squad need to be trained on customer service and how to deal with problems. Best Buy, you need to step up your game. Again, I would not recommend Best Buy to anyone. Not only are you guys expensive with your products, but your customer service is also terrible. I am extremely disappointed with your service. Please let me know how you plan to fix this and make this right.

Installation Appointment

The issue we had is I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift and during the purchase I was informed that the installation bay was no longer active in the St. Matthews store. The sales rep set up an installation appointment at the Outerloop store. My daughter took time off work to attend the install appointment and upon arrival was told that she did not have an appointment and that it had been cancelled by Best Buy corporate. Despite having our printed paper confirmation from the St. Matthews store, they could not get us in that day after they had cancelled our appointment. Eventually after we had set another date to come back and my daughter left the store, we received a call that an appointment had opened that day. So, the product, yes! Works well.... Customer Service and installation, not so great and a bit frustrating. I suggest calling the day before the installation to make sure they haven’t cancelled your appointment.
