Purchased this alarm for my mother Inlaw it's very simple to use for a person of her age.

This is a great basic alarm system for any car if in needed. It does the job to keep the intruders away, and it is very convenient with easy to use on the remote fob functions. I am happy with it, and with the Geek Squad installations, you know that nothing can goes wrong. Good pricing at Best Buy Store too!

Not as advertised. Did not get full coverage, did not get all components, light is a dummy and crazy bright to the point of distracting while driving, no alarm until key is turned in ignition. Going to have to pay 3-4 times as much to get what I really wanted. So frustrated.

I bought this alarm kit a few months ago and i had it installed at best buy but the alarm sensitivity is really low because someone broke my front windshield and the alarm didn't turn on. It would of been nice if they asked how sensitive we wanted it to be

Ordered Compustar Remote Entry System w/ Geek Squad installation on 5/16/18. Our first appointment was cancelled about 1 half hour prior to the scheduled time. Our second installation appointment was on 7/15/18 and the install was done seemingly well. The very next morning the remote entry would not unlock the car, this had to be done manually. So another rescheduled appointment, I believe there were a total of five appointments. At some point everything worked great except the doors could not be locked from the inside once unlocked. The whole point of an alarm is safety right? By the end of it we had Geek Squad remove the system and refund our money. Approximately 1 month later my wife gets pulled over on her way to work because her tail lights are not working. That's real safe too right? By the end of it all we had them remove the system and refund the money but wait there's more! About 1 month from the uninstall my wife gets pulled over by the local police and told that her head and tail lights are not working. Andrew who is very helpful informed me that it was not from their installation/uninstallation. Seems like it is though. Feel ripped off!
