Had this installed on my daughter 2015 Kia Soul. Works great from the app or the key fob. Installation was easy to schedule and done quickly. Would definitely recommend!

With the addition of Drone, this is by far the best remote car starter I've ever had! I haven't needed to test the range of the remote, as I predominantly use my phone. Plus, I get instant feedback when it has started! The Drone app provides excellent peace of mind: whether I'm wondering if I locked the doors; my battery condition (it's nice to know how it's doing in -25F weather here in Alaska. GPS location and internal vehicle temperature is bonus information. Another bonus, the vehicle stays running when you enter the vehicle It only shuts off when the brake is depressed.

Great product, easy to install, long range device and the drone is amazing

I had a pretty basic remote starter before I got this one. It had one button and like a 50ft range. This one blows that one out of the water. As long as I have a cell signal and my car does too, I can start it and monitor it from anywhere. I live in Minnesota so it gets pretty cold and this is such a life saver!! The car stays on for 25 minutes and shuts off after that period so I cant forget about leaving it on too long. I've had it for several winter months now and I do not regret it one bit. A nice plus is that the app monitors the battery power of your car and also tells you the temperature inside it's amazing!

Great remote start kit for my 2016 Toyota Rav4. While it is annoying that the engine stops when I open the door, it's still a great extra feature to have. I would recommend subscribing to Drone Mobile when the subscription goes on sale (happens multiple times a year mainly around holidays). The app makes this a must buy.

This is an awesome starter. The LTE feature is great. It lets you use your phone from inside buildings. I would’ve gave it five stars, but it only comes with one remote. And there is a learning curve.

This was one of the best purchases. Made my daily drive super easy in Chicago’s weather. And the installation team was amazing and very friendly.

You have option for monthly DroneMobile subscription but don’t need to subscribe for remote to work. Starts car from a block away easy with just the remote. The subscription offers a lot more, but unless you have more than one unit with multiple drivers anything more tan the 6.00 or 12.00 a month is way more than you would need. Again great remote but rather pricey. Price was reason for knocking a star off.

Im pleased with this so far although the installer didn't give me the number needed to use my drone mobile trial guess ill find the module and grab it myself other than that great product with install at a great price

Love this system. Going on almost 2 years without any issues from this remote start. I can start it from anyhere from my phone because of the cellular service. There is a subscription to be able to use that however but well worth it in my opinion.

You cannot go wrong with this purchase by turning your car on remotely or via mobile especially in the winter! Installation was provided by best buy & staff installed within the hour! Worth it!

This has been a blessing up here in Wyoming. Life saver really. I use it to warm my car in the horrible snow storms. Nothing better than getting into a pre warmed car. Or cooled depending on your climate. Dont miss out on doing yourself a favor.

It’s been a week so far I am using this. Fob range- it’s pretty decent. Drone mobile- it’s good and as they said it’s unlimited and tried to start my car 16 miles away.. worked. But I guess it may not work in areas with poor cellular coverage. Got installed at Best Buy.. they took almost 4-5 hours to install this (not sure why that long) With this Best Buy also program my OEM car key fobs to start my car..( problems- with oem keyfob you can only start the car but can’t turn off engine.... moreover oem keyfob’s are designed/programmed in a manner that once your engine is running, oem functionality stops.. that means you can’t open doors or trunks...so don’t complain compustar or any other remote starter, it’s not them) Other thing.. once you start engine..you just go in car and insert the key and bring it to ON position and you are good to go.. but if you go with this option then when you stop the car take the key out.. engine will still be running... you need to push the break pedal... Option 2- you start the engine, you sit in car and push the break.. your engine will stop.. now you use your key as you were using it before this system... Now reason for 4 stars:- 1. you can’t program the run time by your self.. has to take it to authorized dealer or wherever you got it installed.. 2. Run time is 3 min, 15 min, 25 min and one more... wish it could run for 7 or 10 min. 15 min is way too long and 3 min way too short. Or they should have given this option to consumer to choose time. Now last drone mobile:- so far I love it but it’s monthly paid service with $5.99 for basic and 11.99 for premium (free for 30 days only). And if you don’t want to pay for this, don’t buy this as you are just going to waste money for something you will not use. They should have provided the option like viper ds4+... in viper ds4+ you can use app for free(very short range because that uses Bluetooth) or they would give one year of free service for DroneMobile just like viper ds4+ with drone provides(first one year free service). Overall, happy with system but I feel like for dronemobile service viper with drone module is better just because it provide one year for free.

Works as it should. Love the range of the remote. Drone mobile app is great but not necessary. Remote start is perfect. 2020 Ram 3500

I Love this product, the range is great and the fact that it comes with an app that gives you plenty more options than the key fob it’s great. Although you do have to pay a subscription for the app after one month of free trail.

This is very nice to have and works well, I would definitely recommend anyone that doesn’t have a remote start to buy this one. Has an app you can install and turn your car on and unlock, lock and open your trunk.
