I love this remote starter. Already saved me from having to call a locksmith twice (that I know about) from my wife locking her keys in the car. All she had to do was unlock it from her phone. The one time she had to call me to unlock it because her phone was in the car with the keys. Lol. But this is what makes this product great. Installation could of went smoother. I made an appointment to have installed and took day off work to drive two hours to the Best Buy to be told the tech called in sick and I’d have to reschedule. Which they couldn’t get it in by Xmas so kinda ruined my Xmas surprise to my wife. But product is still awesome!

Got this for deal of the day. Module works solidly on a 2017 Impreza. I can use both the fob and the included key to control everything for the car. The range is ridiculous on the included key. I haven't tried the LTE module and the app as of yet, but from the other reviews I've seen it's solid.

2010 rav4 V6. So far,so good. Just had it installed. Today,got first frost. Worked like a charm. Installed by Chris in Levittown. He explained the in and outs. Oem fobs work to start at as well. Got the lte drone so phone is option too. Clean install. Great experience.

This remote start is fantastic. i had an older other manufacturer product that just stopped working. This unit does more than i anticipated and is easy to use. Great product. You will not go wrong purchasing this unit.

This remote starter is great, I like that I can also start the car through my phone from anywhere.

The compustar remote start system is actually really nice! We use it constantly. We're also in the midst of the drone mobile trial at their premium tier. It's pretty cool because you can unlock/lock and start your car from your phone. The app has a ton of neat little features such as GPS, temperature inside the car, service info, etc. We haven't used the app as much as we thought we would. We've tested it with Siri and Alexa, but again don't use it as frequently as we thought we would. For some it may make a difference, but for us it didn't. Also, if you're thinking about drone mobile better to get the subscription during the 30 day trial as you get massive discounts especially if you choose the 5 year deal. I think the basic makes the most economical sense, but maybe if you have kids the tier with GPS or geofencing might be a better option.

We have the drone mobile system installed in our vehicles. It makes starting the cars very easy. The service also allows you to monitor engine status, door lock status, trunk lock status, hood lock status, battery voltage status and provide GPS tracking.

The procedure for the installation was excellent and it was already included at no cost to me, when I bought the product, I highly recommend this remote starter, ! no more frozen mornings to go to work!

Great item and perfect install. Have the 4905 in my 4Runner and open to go with the Drone add on for my wife's new 4Runner. Added on the 5 year contract which wasn't cheap, but now she can stay from remote or phone from anywhere.

Has worked flawlessly. Love being able to start my car from anywhere with the app. Highly recommend. Got it on sale for half the price on a black Friday sale.

When this is on sale for $300, including installation, it's a pretty good deal. Just make sure you get the CORRECT wiring kit when you order. If you don't know which to get, call the installers at Best Buy and ask them. The problem with the online ordering system is it gives you numerous wiring choices for your specific vehicle. For example, we have a 2023 Camry SE Nightshade. It has a standard key, not a push-button start. So I selected the standard key and was given multiple wiring "free bonus" choices. Of course, I selected the Compustar hard wiring choice (it's a Compustar Remote Start System) and only found out that was WRONG after I showed up for the installation appointment. The T-HARNESS wiring kit was needed to avoid snipping and splicing wires, and they couldn't find any in stock within 50 miles. To their credit, the installers ordered the correct T-Harness kit and rescheduled me for after it arrived at our home (which would be sooner than having it shipped to the Best Buy store). So, we're happy with the product and it works great. Ordering the correct wiring harness for our specific vehicle so the initial installation would be flawless would've made the entire experience much better. Remember, call the Best Buy where you plan to have your Compustar installed and talk directly with an installer and tell them your exact vehicle so you make sure to order the correct wiring harness the first time.

Bestbuy technicians from Leominster, MA performed the installation pretty quickly and took the time to explain how the device worked. Installed n a Honda Civic 2014 and I can also use the factory fob to remote start it. The fob that came with the equipment is awesome; it lets me start the car from the comfort of the house, and the app let’s me start it from acorss town.

I have a 2012 Honda Pilot, and I was considering trading up to have more creature comforts. Instead, I decided to add the remote start which helped achieve the upgrade itch without spending several hundred dollars per month in car payments. The starter works great, and having the drone cellular connection and app has been really useful. This is not normally available on new cars, so this purchase actually exceeded my expectations and helped further justify making the purchase. The drone app does require a monthly fee of about $10 per month, which is a bargain. I spend that much on one of several streaming services which I barely use. I use this several times per day so no brainer to justify the expense. There’s no need to use the included remote pendant. I don’t like it anyway because the beeps are quite loud. It also helps you find your car in a large parking lot and will literally track your movement relative to the car location. Far exceeded the Apple map version which is very limited on accuracy despite it remembering where you car is parked. Best part…. Starting your car several minutes before you get in means a nice temperature in summer or winter. Hands down one of a top three purchase in recent memory over the past several years. I can now keep tbe car as long as it will last.

Great investment if you live anywhere that has real winters and can easily get below 20 degrees. The range is great on the Compustar and the Drone provides much more flexibility. The only thing that you need to do is make sure you talk with the technician and ask questions to gauge their abilities. The technicians who installed this remote start in my car were knowledgeable and came from dedicated professional shop with years of experience. Not all Best Buy geek squad technicians in every store are equal.
