I want to start this out by saying the tech that installed this unit in Compton, CA was awesome I tried to fill out a survey on her but it wouldn’t let me. Anyways this thing is awesome as well I have a 1979 "HOT PINK" Ford Pinto. It’s great letting it warm up ten minutes before I start driving. Everything has been working like it should so far with no problems the range on this remote is insane. All and all I love this remote starter 2-Way LED Remote Upgrade Kit!!!! =)

I’d recommend this to anybody one of the best.....

Caution, this is an expansion key fob set only, it does not contain the actual remote start unit. With a base remote start unit you get only one key fob that has one button, that has a shorter range and no feedback. This set changes an 800 foot range to a more powerful several thousand by adding a new antenna. For me I can start my vehicle while sitting in my office which is in the middle of a building and not by any windows. I get an indication when the vehicle is successfully started so there is no guessing. I was new to the remote start world and purchased this item first thinking it was the whole system. My installer was able to grab a base system off the shelf which was compatible with this. I decided to keep this set and now cannot imagine just using the basic one button remote that came with the base unit. Worth the money in my opinion.

I bought the car started and upgraded to this kit, and boy was it worth it! The range is incredible on the remote, and you get feedback right away on whether or not your car was able to start. I can sit inside a building and not be able to see my car and I still am able to start it. A great purchase.

My son lost his original remote so the Best Buy installer Brian recommended this 2 way upgrade. Glad he did! The range on this is incredible. Plus it is a 2 way remote that signals back with a beep and lights to let you know the car is running. Highly recommend. This also periodically goes on sale so it is an even better deal. Installation. Took about 15 minutes.

I bought this remote starter for my daughter’s car to deal with the cold Minnesota Winters. The installation was quick and the service was very professional. This add on gives a confirmation that the engine is started. Really nice feature.

This remote alerts you so if it accidently starts your car while in your purse you know.

Great product, install was fast and professional. It's great to not have to scrape the windshield in the winter and not have to get into an oven in the summer. Just hit the remote start a little before you leave and your done.

The upgrade model has a feedback signal to notify if the car has started and extra range. Works Great!!!

This 2-way remote upgrade is perfect for when you need to start your engine but the vehicle is out of view. The remote provides audio and visual confirmation that your vehicle received the start command and will blink every 5 seconds to let you know the engine is still running. One feature that isn’t really advertised is the pit stop feature that the Compustar 1-way and 2-way systems offer where you can leave your engine running while you go into a convenience store. You take the key with you and lock the vehicle for safety (the engine shuts down if you get in and press the brake before putting the key back in the ignition and turning to “on” position. Very useful feature. The range with the 2-way upgrade is 3,000 feet or just over a half mile so you can start the engine from far away and by the time you get in, the vehicle is already comfortable. Note: this is just the upgraded 2-way remote and NOT the remote start system (that is separate). Also the 2-way upgrade comes with two 4-button remotes but only one of them is a 2-way remote (the other is a 1-way).

So glad to have remote start again! When I got my car in 13, there were no compatible models and I'd given up. BB installed and it works beautifully! The extra range will be great for warming it up as I'm walking out of the airport after a trip...and everywhere!

The upgrade kit is wonderful. I definitely recommend buying it if you want to start your vehicle from a distance.

I received the Compustar - 1-Button Remote for Christmas, and I decided to invest an extra $80 in this remote. As I can't see my car from my work office I like that the 2-way alert me when the car start.
