I am impressed at how this remote start will work even in places where you would think it wouldn’t. A two way system for me is the ONLY way to go. Otherwise you may get to your vehicle only to find it didn’t start and you were counting on a cool vehicle or a warm vehicle. My only problem is the “Takeover” is inconsistent. sometimes you can just hop in and go and at other times when you open the door the engine will quit. I’m going to blame this on my Telluride’s anti theft system and not on the compustar system.

Before I purchased this item I read the reviews and was pleased. It’s very easy to operate and the range is perfect.

Good product. I used it to revamp my old 2008 car that takes 10 minutes to heat up every morning. It saves me a lot of time. Installation was included and it took about 3 hours to install. The only feature I could use is the start up feature, the other features are useless until I buy the add ons but the technician told me it wasn't worth the trouble.

Works great. Very Happy that we finally took the plunge. Now we are wondering why we didn't do this earlier. Installer was very quick and showed us how to use it. Only challenge was getting the appointment with Best Buy as they appeared to be short staffed an appt not available for months out. Finally found one a month and a half out but had to drive a good bit.

Jared at the Concord, NH store did my install. Many refused to tackle this job as my car happens to be a difficult one. His work was completed under the amount of time allotted, professional, immaculate and his instructions perfect. Thank you! Can’t say enough how thoroughly pleased I am.

Bought this on black friday half off with free install unfortunately none of the best buys across the state had techs to install it untill at least the end of February so i ended up paying someone else to install it. If you are going to buy this on sale make sure to call your local best buy and see id they have techs otherwise youll pay aomeone else to put it in or 2ait forever

Great remote starter. When it was on sale for $250, I bought it, free installation from best buy. I wish best buy had gone over some of the things that I need to get it fixed. 1) my parking lights keep flashing after remote start. This needs to be turned off. 2) remote noise is really loud. I had to put tape on the back to reduce noise. 3) it unlocks my car, then starts, then locks back. Don't know why. Will have to talk to installer to find out. Besides that, it works great on my 2012 VW Jetta.

so nice not to have to get out in the cold or heat to start the truck. Works very well.

My wife and I really like this system, we bought one 2 year sago for our 2018 kia Sorento, it was a great investment, because of that we bought one for our kia stinger and our kia telluride. It’s really convenient you can leave the ac on with the ventilated seats and when you start the car with the compustar they also get on so the car is already fresh for those hot days. The same thing goes in the cold days. Also if you start the car and you forget, it turns off by itself after 10 mins. Plus the installation and warranty with geek squad.

The unit works as advertised. 2 way remote is great and has excellent range. Works great to cool car on hot florida days. Best Buy installer did an excellent job

Oh my gosh!! What a game changer on these cold frosty mornings!! We lost our carport in a windstorm last year, so no shelter for the cars. I dealt with all the cold, frost, snow AND heat for a year. Finally decided to treat myself. So glad I did! Caught it on the deal of the day too. Great price!!

I had ordered a remote starter for my car over the phone. The person I talked with said they would place the order. The salesperson also made an appointment to have it installed. The earliest they could make the appointment was in seven weeks. I was told that all I needed to do was show up on appointment date, pay for the starter and they would install it. When I got to the appointment, the installers said the starter wasn't there, it was never ordered and that I should have paid for it over phone, had it delivered to my house. Then I should have brought it with me to have it installed. The man at installation center (Pat) said this has happened before and said he would make it right. He ordered the starter, had it sent to my home. He made an appointment for one week later and made it right. The installer Mark, installed the unit, and did a professional job (Top Notch). Both Pat and Mark made a bad situation a positive experience. Thank you Pat and Mark!!! Also thank the manager that day, she made sure it happened and approved it. This happened at the St. Louis store in south county.

It’s been over a year now and it’s working great! So happy that I had it last winter with all the snow! Because I was able to remote start and warm up the car the snow fell off easily and much faster job. It’s great to be able to just get in the car and go, instead of having to wait for it to warm up. Best Buy installed it and showed me how to use it along with setting it up on my originally key fob incase the compustar remote battery dies, very convenient!

Has great range over a block away and through a metal build with heating//ac units on the side. And mice that it tells you that it did start would be nice if both remotes had the feature just for both adults that live in house have their own set of keys i know and she dont.

Really great add to our 2010 Nissan Armada. My wife loves being able to cool or heat the vehicle without going outside. Performs so well!

It works. But sometimes, if I start the car with the remote start, then turn it off… it’ll start back on by itself. And I can’t use my old key fob to unlock my doors if I start the car with the remote starter. But, it does work. It’s nice when it’s cold out. I have a 2004 Honda Accord
