As described. Able to start my vehicle even if I am more than 30 ft away. Good investment especially during the winter to warm up the car and summer to cool the car.

Purchased this alarm and two way remote start appx six months ago. Best buy's geek installer did an excellent job as both units work as expected and is problem free. Was looking at Viper alarms due to buying and having them professionally installed 15 years ago on a couple new vehicles at BestBuy, but those alarms would always slowly drain the vehicles batteries till dead if left sitting for a week. Was looking for another alarm for an old classic truck and noticed BestBuy had a terrific Black Fri sale on the remote start and a Deal Of The Day sale on the Alarm. I asked around about Compustar and heard they're good, so I was happy to get a good system with free install from BestBuy. Am very satisfied with the Compustar brand alarm and can say this alarm is a good one.

I bought another used car and I can't live without a remote starter in New England. After shopping around I landed on a really good sale for this Compustar unit. The 2-way was appealing as well as the longer range. Chris was able to fit me in early for an install, met me early so I can make an appointment and even got it done in about 1-1/2 hours! The range is crazy compared to my older Compustar starter. I ended up finding another on sale for my daughters car and then Chris told me I could upgrade my wife's car for $99, so I did. These units are really great!

This remote start system is exactly what I wanted. It works flawlessly from great distance and sends a signal back to the fob to let me know that it is started. Of all the things that I have had installed in my vehicle this is the one I am most appreciative of. The total tech support did a great job installing.

I bought one for my car a few years back and the extension kit allowed me to start my car at work from the 4th floor,in the middle of a huge building. The feature where the remote confirms of the car started or not is super convenient. Very easy to use, and the installers were great, easy to work with & scheduling was easy as well. I purchased this new unit for my daughter and when I bought it right after Christmas, it was on sale and was the same price as the 1-way starter!!! Excellent deal.

This thing is awesome. I have it installed on 4 of my vehicles. I got this thing because I dread winter. The best part about compustar is you don't have to shut off the car when running quickly into the grocery store just hold the remote start button while in vehicle and remove the key and lock the door. the car will stay running when you return. Great deal and the cheapest i found a 2-way remote start was best buy

A little nice upgrade for people with older or newer vehicles that wants to warm up their car during cold days or cool it during hot days! This unit reaches out to 3000ft which is a huge plus! The tech guy who installed it at my local BB was very knowledgeable as well. The only con is only one of the transmitter remote is two way, the second one is a one way. Buy it when they go on sale to save yourself some money!

i really like this starter....if you're going to get a starter a 2 way is the one you want. No more guessing if your car started then you're looking out the window....your fob lets you know with a chirp and lights. Great clean install by the tech here in Poughkeepsie NY and he explained to me how to use it. Got the starter for a great price and the deal had included installation.

Works great ! Hooked it right before the winter. Serving its purpose strongly. Highly recommend this for all the old cars out there. Came with free bundled installation. Install was done professionally.

Wanted to add Remote Start to my 2004 Subaru Outback. There were no OEM options for my vehicle, so had to go aftermarket. It was important to me to get two-way communication, so that I could get feedback that my vehicle had actually started and/or was still running. The 3000ft estimated range was a nice bonus, so I decided this system would be a good fit. Props to the installer guy for being ready when I arrived, knowing exactly what I did and did not need for my install, and getting it all done in about 2 hours. Sharp dude. That said, since having it installed, I have run into a couple of issues that caused me to knock this down to 4 stars: 1) Because it cannot integrate with OEM security system, when my wife accidentally hit the door lock before closing the door, the remote start caused the OEM system to immobilize the vehicle until I drove up there (an hour later) with the factory keyfob to disable the security alert. I now have to carry the factory keyfob in addition to the Compustar keyfob, just in case this happens when we are further away from home. 2) Sometimes the two-way remote doesn't beep to confirm the signal was sent, and then doesn't beep to confirm start signal was received back from vehicle. This happens even though I can see the vehicle received the command, started, and is running. When this happens, the remote also does not show the "run time remaining" countdown. Not sure what causes this, though I have tried to figure it out several times. Overall, I still think this is a great system. Not sure any other system could overcome the OEM interface problem, and the occasional failure of the 2way communication is not a deal breaker for me. Would definitely recommend.

This auto starter works extremely well. I have been using it for a little over 3 months now. The range is great. I can start my car 3-4 blocks distance, and the signal goes through thick walls. I really like it so far, and will write an updated review in the near future

Compustar 2 way remote starter works flawlessly with Civic 2013, starting my car within seconds, even in extreme cold/hot weather. Geek squad has done pretty good job with installation. The range is impressive, allowing me to start my vehicle from inside my home or office. Highly recommended for those looking to start their car remotely without hassle!

The remote start works as intended on my 2020 kia forte. The instillation was timely and professional, and John took the time to walk me through the features and operation of the system and keys. The range of 3000 works as advertised, walls and buildings can obstruct the remotes ability to reach the antenna, but the 2 way remote solves the issue of not knowing if the car started.

This remote is easy to use . It is reliable at a good distance. In fact, my previous vehicle has one and has had no issues.i love getting into a warm car. I have no negative review for this product.

Had this installed in my 2014 f-150 by the best buy technicians and it’s works amazing. Super easy to use, good range and I can leave the truck running while locked if I need to just run into the store real quick, technicians did a good clean job.
