Using this product is very simple, press the button to lock or unlock, press and hold the key button to start the engine. It has a 15 minute timer to shut off the engine. It also locks the doors when it starts the engine which is a bonus my previous vehicle didn't have. And it has the safety feature to kill the engine if the brake is pressed before the key is turned to the on position. The 2 way remote beeps at you when you lock or unlock the doors and plays a chime when the engine starts to let you know that the car has started. The lights on the remote will flash every 30 seconds or so to remind you the engine is running. The 3000 ft range is strong enough to start the car in my office parking lot. Also the guy installed this starter programmed to my existing key fob. I can use my factory key also to start the care remotely.

Been thinking ever since my wife got her Subaru, that came with about everything but a remote start, that she should be even more spoiled! I noticed they had a really good sale that included installation so I purchased it online and within 10 days it was installed and working! We haven't tested if it even comes close to the 3000ft it claims it will work but she will be happy if it came close to 2000ft.

Works great!!!! I will never buy a vehicle without remote start. First place I called wouldn't install one in my Nissan. Called Nissan and they couldn't install one but told me about Best Buy installing remote starts So I called them and they could! The installer did a fantastic job and I'm so happy I can now start it from the house!

The device is very helpful specially in areas that get a lot of snow and for people who do not have a covered parking space. No more getting into ice cold car. The hardwired installation was a breeze and BB Greek squad staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks!

I have had the remote start for just about a month now. It has been absolutely amazing. The only thing I would change is when I use the two way remote. The sound is a little bit loud coming back to me letting me know that the vehicle has started. I wish that were quieter or even if there is a way that I could silence it and just use the visual buttons but other than that, I absolutely love this remote start. It starts every time very very happy. I was able to find it on a one day sale or same-day sale and it only cost me half the price.

The system is relatively easy to use. Today was the first day I needed it and I was able to start my SUV from inside my warm dry house and have the windows cleaned by the time I went out to leave for work. This is my first remote starter and now I'm thinking I may never want to be without one. so nice to just get in my car on a cold wet morning and drive away without having to scrape the windshield. Now I just have to remember to leave the heat on Defrost/High. :)

Bought this for my wife for xmas. It was installed in a few hours and works perfectly!! Would recommend to anyone who hates getting into a cold car in the winter!!

Works great, flawless install. We do prefer putting the remote on silent mode because it's very loud if it's not. Other than that, range is fantastic.

Best buy in Puyallup installed my remote start and they were AMAZING! Got this during the black friday sale so it was half off. ($250) and it came with free installation and i also didnt pay for the T-Harness, it came w it. Bought on Black Friday and got an appointment to get it installed first week of December. As soon as you buy this, get an appt immediately because Geek Squad's schedule is tight. Ive only had this for a couple weeks but so far so good. I live up north . Also on the 3rd floor of an apartment so coming down and starting my car when its 20 degrees outside in the morning is always a hassle. This has been extremely worth the money especially since I got it during the sale. Will recommend to friends and family.

I liked it so far. the installation was also very clean and precise. It haven't tested the max range but for me it works well even from inside stores or office. so will sure recommend this product.

I've had this on my 20y/o Honda Accord for about a year. It's been very reliable. No more getting inside an icebox in the morning. No brainer when it's on sale for $250 or under.

Crazy range (says up to 3,000 feet and I believe it after trying it), starts every time. Easy to program. The Best Buy installers were super helpful too.

Its great to start my car before work to warm it up in the winter months. It comes with a separate fob thats lightweight and simple to use. It has confirmation beeps to let you know it started successfully. The car remains locked while started. Installation was easy and took less than an hour. The associate was super helpful.

Bought this on sale and had a Best Buy tech install it in my 2015 Lexus (since the older 3G network will be decommissioned this year and I will no longer be able to remote start my car with the Lexus Enform app). Works like a charm whether you're using the included remotes or combined with a DroneMobile LTE Module for remote starting my car from my phone or one of my connected smart assistants. This has been especially helpful for when I'm getting ready in the morning and when it is cold outside. I can simply remote start my car, let it heat up so that it is ready to go once I'm ready to leave the house. One side note for folks in a similar position like mine. This system, when installed, may use the cabling that exists from OEM remote starters. Like I mentioned, my Lexus could be remote started, but I had to use the Lexus Enform app to do it. Once this was installed, I could no longer use the app. Make sure to cancel or not renew your monthly subscription for those apps. Overall, it has been a great experience using this system and may use it in the future for other vehicles.

These 2-way auto-starts are excellent. I have had numerous units installed in different cars and cannot say enough positive things about these units. I love the ability to have the run time set to my preference, the chirp the fob makes to confirm it starts, and the distance this works from my vehicle. I like the compustar system better than GM factory auto-starts

I have a 2012 Honda Pilot and love this remote start. Lets me know it started with chirping sound. Even started from a 13th floor hotel window. Awesome!! Installation in Reno, NV was excellent and even installed to work with original key fob.

I researched many remote starts and where to get it installed. This one sounded perfect and having BestBuy install it, it came with a life time warranty. I've never had one or a car that came with one so I decided to treat myself. I am overjoyed that I can get into a warm or cool car now! I tried to start it from half a block away and it worked! Just set you climate controlls the night before and youre all set!

I had this installed on my 2005 GMC Sierra Denali. When I went for the install they told me the 3x factory remote option was not available for my make and model. I even reached out to compustar who makes it and they said it wasn't available. But when I tried it it still worked. I don't know where the disconnect is but it does work on this year model truck. I've been really pleased with it so far in the range is really good.
