I have a 2015 Tundra. Install was top notch. The only way I know it was installed is now I have an antennae on my windshield. I have 2 other cars with remotes (1 factory and one also installed by Best Buy) this on has a much farther range than the others. With the conformation beep, I don't need to see the cars lights to tell if it is started. Verry happy :)

Excellent product, easy to use and very convenient. The 2 way was really helpful but it did make other people look around in confusion when the car started LOL I liked that the remote gave a chirp once I opened the door to remind me to put the key in the lock before I hit the brake. Even if I forgot all I had to do was simply turn the key to start the car again. The 1 way worked well too but it's a good idea to be able to see the car to make sure it started as you get no feedback.

We bought this and had Best Buy do the install. It all went Great and the product works better than we even expected! It is wonderful to have a Remote start when you leave for work very early in the morning and it is winter weather!

Had a monent of walking to the car and it would not auto open with original key.. but have not seen it again. Install was pretty smooth, and timely.. 2020 Toyota highlander Hybrid, and no issues . Definately recommended but one thing i will say took me by surprise.. only 1 of the 2 remotes is 2 way, the other one is a 1 way.. not sure i understood that from the description or maybe i just assumed.. that is my only complaint

Great remote starter. Highly recommend, the two way notification helps make sure the start request is valid. This is the third one I've purchased for multiple cars.

I've had this kit on 2 cars now. The older 2011 outback was great. It even added remote start to my factory fob, which was nice. My newer 2022 outback with a push button start is a little weirder, but works. I can only unlock/lock the car with the compustar remote if I used it to remote start. (old one let me use oem or compustar regardless). New one did not add remote start to my factory fob. I liked being able to remote start, but not bring the compustar fob with me. I can't do that anymore. Either way, at 250-300 with install this a solid deal for harsh winters.

Wanted a remote start for years, so glad I found this one. The range is unreal, can start from my desk at work which is on the other side of the building and starts every time. Best buy installed for free (included in the price) and did a great job.

This is my second Compustar remote starter. Had the first one work flawlessly for years, so when I got a new car, had to put another one in it! Love the ease of use and the 2 way communication. Solid product and using Best Buy was a great experience from purchase, easy in store pickup and a fantastic installer who was also awesome! Thanks Best Buy!

Expertly installed by Best Buy in a 14 Nissan Titan. Works Flawlessly! Even had them connect the window/mirror defrost as an "aux" for those frosty mornings. The range is outstanding. It says 3000', thats over a half a mile! I started my vehicle at walmart while in the checkout line. 2way lets you know it actually started. Only gripe is the sensor in the windshield has a flashing blue light. Not bad, but at night its a distraction. Wish it was installed behind the rearview mirror so I don't see it. Love the product and Bestbuy install was GREAT!

Great range and easy to use in a jeep. No complaints

I grabbed an excellent deal on it during the holiday season. Works perfectly. Long enough to start from home or workplace when car is within 100-200 ft(in case of a lot of obstacles in between). In open, I guess it would work for more than 500 ft

It heats up/cools down my car for me, it unlocks and locks my doors for me, a true gentleman, lol! I purchased an amazing used car and what would have been even more amazing is if all of the keys and remotes were still available at the time of purchase. But you know how it goes we all lose things so I completely understood. Then this showed up as a Deal of the Day after I had purchased a different one. I returned the other one for this and boy oh boy am I glad. I like how effective and yet, simple it is, no crazy subscription fees AND I don't have to go the the dealer to have new fobs made because this works on all five doors! Ha! Love it! P.S. If you have pets, when they ask you how long you want to car to run once remote started pick the half hour so that you can keep them cool or warm depending on where you are and what season it is. I wish I had thought of that but when he said "we recommend 15 minutes to save gas," that sounded perfectly reasonable to me plus it's easier on the engine. I was so excited to get a remote start I forgot I had "fur kids."

Using this product is very simple, press the button to lock or unlock, press and hold the key button to start the engine. It has a 15 minute timer to shut off the engine. It also locks the doors when it starts the engine which is a bonus my previous vehicle didn't have. And it has the safety feature to kill the engine if the brake is pressed before the key is turned to the on position. The 2 way remote beeps at you when you lock or unlock the doors and plays a chime when the engine starts to let you know that the car has started. The lights on the remote will flash every 30 seconds or so to remind you the engine is running. The 3000 ft range is strong enough to start the car in my office parking lot. Also the guy installed this starter programmed to my existing key fob. I can use my factory key also to start the care remotely.

Very nice and easy to use product . It has been something which everyone should install in there cars if they do not have auto start . With small kids and in New England it is a must to have product in your vehicle

This is one of the best upgrades for my 11 GMC Sierra. I'm able to solely use the 2 remotes included, rather than the 2 original ones. The installer originally said otherwise. The installation was quick and professional. I did not receive a T harness with my purchase and apparently this should have come with the unit. Make sure you have one prior toyour install appointment.

Been thinking ever since my wife got her Subaru, that came with about everything but a remote start, that she should be even more spoiled! I noticed they had a really good sale that included installation so I purchased it online and within 10 days it was installed and working! We haven't tested if it even comes close to the 3000ft it claims it will work but she will be happy if it came close to 2000ft.

Not bad it’s solid , range is solid aswell decent for for starting when your inside your house and it’s winter so your car is warm , the alarm does drain your battery if not turned on for like 2 days or more and needs to be cycled at Best Buy which kind of sucks , but if you know your car is going to be left sitting then just leave it on a trickle charger.

The device is very helpful specially in areas that get a lot of snow and for people who do not have a covered parking space. No more getting into ice cold car. The hardwired installation was a breeze and BB Greek squad staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks!

I won’t own a vehicle without a remote start anymore. This Compustar is worth every penny. The feedback (where it lets you know if the vehicle actually started) is invaluable. I have had Best Buy install five of these now (my vehicles, my teen children and a friend) and they have been flawless.
