I bought this with a keyless entry system. What I was not told before ordering is that you had to have electric locks already on the vehicle so I ended up returning all of it. 2 star for fast shipping, it did work, but couldn’t complete what I was there for. Geek squad guy was awesome, salesman failed miserably.

i purchased and had a compustar remote starter put in throught best buy about 11 months ago. when i had a new key programed the unit fried, { according to the key maker} which shut down the car. the key{ company car keyexpress} paid for a tow, rental car, and repair of car at a nissan dealership minus the remote starter, 1300 dollars. nissan dealer said remote unit failed ! best buy said they could not varify it so they will not give any credit for remote system they needed to check it out themselves , like they going to pay for towing costs etc RIGHT! also they say compustar is responsible for warrenty not best buy. again getting the run around!!!!! will not do bussines with best buy again . i bought and had product installed at best buy with implied warrenties that they do not honor

The product works good but since they mimicking the key present's in the car it will turn your car security system off so if you ha e your window down and open you car from out side to it doesn't trigger alaram

Remote starter uninstalled due to draining battery

Had this installed on my mom's 1999 Toyota Rav4. The technician in the install center couldn't have been more friendly. Not only did he explain absolutely everything about the specific product I ordered through Best Buy's website, but it was done within the estimate window and you literally cannot tell anyone was even in the car. Seriously it's such a smooth install, everything is hidden and the antenna perfectly centered. Can't thank the tech more!! Love that it has keyless entry now and can start it from SUPER far away. Thanks again to the awesome highly skilled tech at Best Buy in Wilkes-Barre, PA!!

I was looking for a good remote start kit for my 2008 Ford Focus and the Compustar 4900S 2-way remote start kit caught my eye. Initially, I was considering the Viper systems, but the after reading online reviews, I settled for Compustar 4900S. I bought it as a bundle (Remote Start System + Tilt Switch + Geek Squad Installation). I received the kit in mail a few days after I ordered it. Scheduling the installation through Geek Squad was a breeze and technician was courteous and promised me around 3hrs of installation time. I've been using the Computsar for a week and I'm happy with it.

I always wanted to get remote start installation done in my car. Jus recently I purchased this product for my 2008 Hyundai Sonata SE V6 and have it installed by Geek Squad at Best Buy. This remote start comes with 1 two-way and 1 one-way remote start. I just purchased another two-way remote from eBay for $15. So far I have no problem with the remote start. It works as it described on the box. I am happy with the 3000 ft (about half mile) range. One thing that I would like to point out is that after locking the door with the compustar remote, you won’t hear the “horn” as it confirms that car is locked. But your remote itself will beep as it letting you know that car is locked. So if you like hearing the audible confirmation after locking, then you will have to use your factory key fob that came with the car. It’s not a big deal. Overall I am satisfied with the product’s performance!

I got this product when it was on sale and because it was such a good sale, I got one for each of my 2 cars. The installer did an amazing job and I've had no problems with this. I did want to customize how it works after I drove away and the installer was very willing to plug into the computer to enable the setting that I wanted.

Had it installed by best buy a few weeks. Works awesome thus far. Highly recommended!
