    Happy that this product makes life easier if it wasn't for this product I would have had two remotes because this device I could use the same original factory key remote.

    My installer at Best Buy said this module was needed for the Viper system. Since then, the car starts 50% of the time on the first try. I'm in process of replacing the ignition key cylinder, the ignition switch and the body control module to insure there's no problem on the GM side. If that doesn't correct the problem, the car goes back to Best Buy.
