Best Buy programmed the remotes and they unlock/lock the doors but will not remote start. Technician said the bypass switch had issues but didn’t have time then so had to schedule another appointment. Quickest appointment is mid October.

I purchased this item because the other item that I wanted didn’t work on my car it was the viper so far I can’t wait to start the car while I’m at home etc only thing is that it’s small from the OG fob but so far so good

The description on this item is vague as to what systems it will work with. I had a Compustar Model:RS1B-DC3 (SKU:6046704) remote start system installed on my 2006 Kia Sedona and the system works great. My mother was having trouble with the one button remote because you have to click it twice rapidly to get the car doors to unlock. I could not find any documentation anywhere about which systems that these remotes will work for. It just says "Select Vehicle Security Systems". That's not very helpful. I successfully programmed these remotes to my DC3 Remote Start System. To program, turn the key to the on position (do not start the vehicle) 5 times rapidly. You will hear a click and the lights will flash. Quickly hit the lock button on the remote that you are trying to program. You should hear a click and see the lights flash to confirm that it is programmed. If you are programming a second remote, now click the lock button on that remote. Again, you will hear a click and the lights flash. After you are finished, wait a few moments and the system will click and flash the lights twice to confirm that it is finished with programming mode. Click the buttons on any remote that you have programmed to check to see that it is operational. It is very easy to program and these remotes are much easier to use than the single button model. Well worth the money for the upgraded remotes.

I bought it because I was told it’s not complicated to install yourself but it was a lie! I haven’t even got to use it yet because I have to get it installed!

This is really not necessary I dont see the point of buying this. I returned it and got the two-way upgrade instead.
