I have had several after market remote starters on my cars in the past. This one is by far the best I’ve had. It gives a cheery chirp signal to notify you that the car has started. Even if I am way in the back of a store, I can start my car for a nice warm ride home. I hate, hate, hate cold weather so this starter makes my life much better. Also, a plus is that if you forget the car was started, the car will shut off after awhile. Great distance with clear notification.

I chose this system because of installer recommendation on reliability and support. I almost went with a competing system but from what the installer explained, the other system was not yet compatible with my factory security system and remote. This Compustar system is praised as being much easier to work with and much more reliable. It easily allowed me to retain my factory security system and my factory key-remote with full functionality including the remote start system. It obviously doesn't work as far away as the 1 mile range upgraded LCD remote that I also got, but it gets the job done and allows me to carry one less thing when I choose. This system has been very reliable and very predictable. The word seamless comes to mind. I wish I had gotten this years ago, especially in the mid-west with winter coming. Bring it on. :-)

Excellent product work fast easy to install easy to use

I bought this system after the first one I purchased turned out to be incompatible with my vehicle (even though my vehicle was listed as compatible). The range is amazing. I can start my car from the door at the mall, movie theater, restaurant. All places where the car is pretty far away. It is easy to use, has never failed me. If you need a no frills, inexpensive system this is the one for you!

I added the extended range remote so can start from long distances without having to pay monthly charges for starting from my cell phone. So far working great and love having a warm car in Subzero MN weather when I get into my car

For the price which included installation this was perfect. Simple and efficient. Great installation. The only drawback was the receiver module was located on the windshield next to the rear view mirror. That made it kind of difficult to keep it as a surprise gift. Lol

I bought this car starter for my Mazda CX 3. The installation was quick and the installer took the time to make sure I understood everything. The starter works perfectly and has a good range for starting. This is a good starter for the price.

For the price you cant go wrong. I used this product on a previous vehicle of mine and worked with no issues. Had the vehicle for 2 years after this installation. As you can see I have purchased another one for a new vehicle. Product is great works likes its intended to. It's a basic system that allows for remote on and off. Overall great product for its designed use. If you want more bells and whistles then of course this won't be for you, you must spend a little more on a more feature rich product.

This remote start has been great for the cold Montana winter. No problems and is very easy to use. I did upgrade to the two way remote with a longer range and have been very pleased with my purchase.

This product has been great. My only problem is it only came with one key fob and I wanted a second and haven't been able to get one yet. I think the product should come with two key fobs. Besides that the product works great!

I how does product installed on my car in January 2018. I live in Ohio so it's definitely a necessity to have a remote to start during the winter time. The only only disappointment that I had that this remote starter kit only comes with one key-fob so if you have an extra set of keys it would be a pain in the butt to buy an extra key fob and then pay the extra money to have that separate a key fob connected to this remote start. I have still not purchased an extra key fob but I just make sure that I have my right set of keys to use in the winter time. But overall I've had this remote start installed for over a year and it still works fine.

I bought this version because I wanted to know when or if the car started. This unit works great and still allows me to use the buttons on my key too. previous units I looked at "bypassed" my key button which are easier to use to unlock/lock doors. I am extremely pleased with how well this worked in my 2015 Subaru Outback - better than the factory one and cheaper!

I mainly bought the remote start for the convenience of starting the car on cold winter mornings. I've already used it a few times, and it works great! The sales associate took time to show me how the remote works. It's very simple, and it has worked perfectly every time I've used it. No more running out in freezing cold weather to start the car!

I’m so happy with this remote starter. It goes through walls easily and start my car from til 800 ft. Love it!

The CompuStar remote car starter works better than my old Viper system and it was much less expensive!

The range appears to be exactly as described. I have even been able to start my car from the third story brick building out to the back parking lot, 1 Block away. I can always start my car from inside my house to my driveway. I can start my car from where I work to my car. I can start my car from hotel parking lot out to my car. So far no problems.

it's so awesome to have the car started when I come out in the morning or after work. I can be anywhere in the house or office and it will start. The range is great. I was worried that it might mess up my electrical but there's been absolutely no issues. I'm very satisfied

Fantastic product that has been with me since 2015. Compustar is the only brand I'll stand behind. When battery died in my car, I reprogrammed it within seconds and its still kicking after 5 years!
