Good clippers, they cut my hair well. I've been cutting my own hair for years now and my old clippers were starting to bog down sometimes in my thick hair. It was obviously time for some new ones so I gave these a try. Slim body, they seem more comfortable to hold especially if you're cutting your own hair. Also quieter than my old ones, good around the ears. They plow right through my hair much better than my old clippers. I would actually rate these at 4.5 stars or 5 if not for the lack of taper guide combs and what seem to be cheapo scissors. Not a big deal though as the scissors are kind of a bonus and I don't really use the taper combs anyway. They do have many comb sizes that are marked well for easier choosing (some others are hard to read). Also a bag for storage. Includes a brush and a bit of cutting oil (they could include a little more oil). Hoping they will last awhile as I do like them.

Very dull clippers, not ideal for shaving your head. Would recommend paying more for a different set, probably worst clippers I’ve ever had.

I’m really impressed by Conair’ s newest Metal Series High Performance hair clippers, they are designed well and feel very heavy duty. Included our various comb attachments, pretty much all the ones you would possibly need, they fit well and are made well. Scissors, lubricating oil and a little brush are also included in the package. I have been cutting my own hair for a couple of years now, it takes some practice but you get better at it the more you do it.. anyone can cut their own hair it’s just a question of wanting to and having the right clippers. These are the right clippers. The power cord is long and thin, perfect for this sort of device, The clippers themselves have a nice weight to them and are really comfortable to hold, I will definitely be using these clippers a lot. Other features include premium Japanese steel plates, locking taper control, high torque motor. Perfect for giving yourself a haircut or for your friends and family.

After reading reviews on many clippers, I chose this one. I am not disappointed. Nice long cord. Helpful instructions. Reasonably quiet and easy to hold. It cut so well on my first pass I thought it missed the hair until I saw it fall. If you are searching for a decent clippers at a reasonable price, I would highly suggest this one.

Upon unboxing, the Conair Metal Series Clippers gives an OK first impression. The clippers are attractive and have a good weight to them without being too heavy. The main silver portion of the body is metal, possibly aluminum. The copper colored shell nearer the blade is plastic, as is the adjustment handle. And the cord is a fair length. Digging deeper in the box, you’ll also find 8 comb attachments, scissors, a blade guard for storage, blade oil, a cleaning brush and a storage bag. As for performance, the clippers are quiet and cut well. And attachments fit and work well. With all of that said, for a brand to make a big deal about being metal, I’m disappointed in the amount of plastic parts on the body; especially the blade adjustment handle which doesn’t feel very sturdy. Furthermore, the storage bag is cheap and barely fits the clippers themselves. The scissors are sharp but feel cheap. And there are no taper combs or barber’s comb included. All in all, while the clippers look nice and work well, there are better appointed options available.

My husband prefers home haircuts, so we’ve been cutting his hair at home since before we were married (over twenty years ago). Suffice it to say that we’ve been through a bunch of electric hair clippers, of different brands, but all at the lower price points. Enter this higher price point hair clipper from Conair, and now we understand again that saying, You Get What You Pay For. We’ve always bought the cheapy, plasticky hair clippers, then just replaced them when they inevitably stopped working or the blades dulled down. This “Metal Series High Performance” hair clipper from Conair lives up to its name. Even just the feel of it before we turned it on was different—it has a nice solid heft to it (without being heavy), with a smooth exterior feel. The cord is extra long, a good six feet, so that it didn’t get tangled up as we used it. There are several guide comb attachments to choose from, for the perfect length of cut choice. The motor isn’t too loud; we were surprised because we’re so used to the normal loud buzzing of our past electric hair clippers. The cutting and flow through my husband’s hair was smooth. It also comes with a set of scissors and the standard lubricating oil with brush, as well as a nice small drawstring storage bag. All in all, very nice, high quality set.

I have been cutting my own hair for a long time now and I tend to go through clippers at a rate of once a year. This was really good timing for me to try this latest product from Conair as the ones I was using previously were showing their age. One thing I can say right off is that the product has a nice weight and hand feel. It’s very comfortable and easy to maneuver compared to my last one. It comes with all the attachments you could possibly need and a great bag for keeping them all together. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars was the cutting quality itself. I felt like i was having to use more passes to accomplish the same amount of work when compared to other products. I’m hoping this is something that improves with a little more use but I think the blade quality (while advertised as Japanese precision) might be a little less sharp than what I’m used to. Overall a great value for the price and I would definitely recommend for people who have become their own hairstylists during the pandemic. :)

First off I will let you know that the only other time I used a hair clipper, it left bald spots on my son’s head. Jump forward 30 years and this was my second attempt. This time I watched a few videos for technique. That really helped. The clipper was fairly easy to use. I cut my brothers hair but he has a ridge on the back of the head and you have to be careful as it will hit it even while lifting upward. The cord should have been 8 or 10 feet for more maneuverability. The 8 attachments are helpful but left and right ear attachments would have produced better quality cutting around the ears. Quiet and easy to use. The included scissors are okay. Recommended. NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.

Best overall clippers I have used. I am in my 60s and appreciate the slimmer grip and ergonomic handle. I like the textured thumb rest that allows me to maintain a hold on the clippers even when my hands were a little wet. My wife gave me a hair cut and said she liked the fact that the weight was substantially less than our current machine a whal that we have had for a while. The con air cutter came with the usual assortment of accessories but I wish it had included the right and left tapered guides for around my ears. I notice also the smooth running and substantialy quieter motor, my ears thank you. I was able to trim my beard with the teeth set on low which I never did with my old machine

Look this puppy performs and at a high level of excellence. Zips right through any hair including beards, haircuts, etc... I will say the guards that come with it are engineering for longer applications. Shorter guard combs would have been phenomenal for beards as you feel like you’re combing through with a set of garden shears BUT other than it being awkward it worked well. Included storage bag is nice but definitely would have preferred a small hard case as the bag has a tendency to allow for losing pieces. Brush did well in clearing them out of any leftover hair. Overall a solid set of clippers that sound quiet like a barber set but is definitely focused on home use.

These are very nice clippers. They're well made with high quality materials. The blades cut easily through thick hair with no problems whatsoever. The eight comb attachments fit securely to the clipper and range from one-eighth inch up to one inch. They look and feel like they're pretty durable,- not cheap, brittle plastic that would break from fatigue after a few uses. The included scissors seem a little undersized and it would have been nice if a barber's comb was included. I would have given this product five stars with upgraded scissors and if a barber's comb was included.

I have been cutting my own hair for years. I just shave it down with the shortest guide. I had been using a Wahl that I have had for a few years. That makes me appreciate the Conair metal series even more. The Wahl, being plastic, was very loud. The one I used also had a pop-out trimmer. Because of this, it always rattled while it was on and was extremely annoying. The Conair, being metal gives it a little more weight, which I like, as well as making it much quieter. Another feature that I like is the button to turn it on. It is very "clicky" and feels solid. The Wahl has an on/off lever on the side to turn it on. Since I always wrapped the cord around it when I was finished, that would sometimes move the on/off lever and cause it to be on when I plugged it in. That can't happen with the Conair. It's a small detail, but it makes a difference to me. I used the shortest guide (#1) on the Conair, and it leaves my hair a little longer than the Wahl did. Next time I'm going to cut my hair without the guard, but keep the blades extended all the way. I believe that would be about equal to the Wahl's shortest guide. I will say that I was able to cut my hair in about half the time using the Conair. It comes with 8 guide combs for different hair lengths, small scissors, a blade guard, a brush, oil and a pouch. I will say that I would prefer if it had a hard case for storage instead of a thin bag. I also noticed that after one use, some of the color was coming off of the gold part at the back where your fingers are when you are cutting. It seems like the finish should last for more than one use. At the end of the day, that doesn't affect performance and isn't a big deal to me, but I figured I would mention it. Overall, this is a definite improvement over my previous clippers.

    Enjoyed the clipper

ConairMAN MetalCraft clipper is definitely well designed and has a nice sleek look . It has metal handle and adjustable stainless-steel sharp blades with edged at the end for precise cuts. It came with 8 guide comb attachments, scissor, storage bag/pouch with string, lubricating oil and small brush to clean the blades. This clipper is corded and the cord is approx. 6 foot and has a strap to keep it tidy in the bag. I liked the corded feature as I can get AC power for the entire haircut. I had tried other clippers but this one outperforms that with the sleek professional appearance, good quality blades and the locking taper control feature. Thumb taper lever adjustment enables easy haircut length easy and adds the professional touch. Overall, I really enjoyed using this clipper and would recommend others. I did this receive this free as part of promotion in return for my review, there was, nor will be, any other compensation in any form. This is my personal, unbiased review, additionally, I have no relationship outside of this review with the company or any of its affiliates or employees.

We haven’t stepped foot in a hair salon for years now as we’ve gotten very good at cutting hair at home. In the age of Covid, having good clippers is important. Enter the Conair, Metal Series High Performance Hair Clipper. This is corded, not rechargeable battery and it’s got a very high-quality feel and does a great job cutting hair. I love how its metal and not cheap feeling plastic like most other hair clippers. You get premium Japanese Steel Blades with a locking taper control, so you can better control the cut. Included are 8 guide comb attachments, barber scissors, a blade guard (to protect the steel blades when not in use), a storage pouch, lubricating oil and a hair removal brush. We’ve owned a lot of semi-professional clippers over the years and this is hands down the best we’ve had. The clipper is very quiet yet has a powerful high-torque motor. In particular, the design is very ergonomic, and it feels great in hand. In comparison to other clippers we’ve owned, even made of metal, it’s lighter weight. After the first use, it cut our hair perfectly even at a uniform height and it just felt very professional. It’s simple to use and change the guide attachments, well made, powerful, sleek, attractive and should provide excellent service for a long time to come. If there was one thing, I would change is it should come with a tray to keep everything laid out in. Instead, it comes with a bag. Otherwise, this is a truly excellent clipper set, which is miles above the average Drug Store clippers you can buy.

    Cutting Hair with Ease

My older clippers are getting a bit dull and don’t cut as well as they used to. These clippers are very sharp and cut with ease. These clippers come with the standard guards, scissors and oil. The guards seem a bit flimsy in the way they attach to the clippers. I feel like over time they will break and not stay attached to the clippers. I felt that the guards were not as smooth against my skin and a little scratchy. My wife noticed the cord was shorter than our other clippers so it made it harder to cut everyone’s hair. The clippers themselves though are a breeze. My wife cut my son’s hair that was about 3 inches long and the clippers zipped right through it. Then when cutting the sides and back, she didn’t need to go over it nearly as many times as usually to get all the hair the same size. The motor is fairly quiet which is a nice bonus. I would recommend these clippers, though due to the shorter cord that we’re used to and the guards that don’t seem to be as high quality as my older ones, it didn’t get 5 stars.

I'm not an expert using clippers I just use it in a regular basis, I can say that the clipper looks and feels nice it is made with metal and plastic, it comes with a bunch of accessories that help to get the best of it. It is not a wireless clipper which is good because some times it is needed invest reasonable time to get the "perfect" haircut, well I just use it to keep my hairstyle fresh XD. The performance is good but not excellent I think a little more of power would have been great but considering is a Home Use clipper I understand it is a regular clipper to be used at home. The cord is not that long and may be a little issue for some people, the clippers are sharp and using the accessories a better result can be reach. It doesn't get hot even using it for long period of time, like I said I'm not a professional but for a regular guy like me it could be a great option considering the range of price of these type of products. I can recommend it.

So, as I said I got to try these out, it wasn’t what I expected, but wow was this thing super quiet. This is not your small trimer as I was thinking, but a full size with a lot power. I needed a new pair to groom my dogs and these fit the bill perfect. The quiet motor helps a lot to keep from being too loud when close to the ears, but don’t let the quietness of this fool you. The cut is super smooth, fast cutting, and has a multi-level guard adjustment which a lot of other brands do not have. On top of all this power it also comes with an assortment of attachments to help get that prefect groom!
