This clipper is very lightweight and cuts smoothly. At first I was a bit worried that it would not hold up to the coarse nature of my hair but as an avid Do-it-Yourself person - I had to try this out on myself first - and I tell you that this thing definitely hold up. My 4 year old son did not complain once. He also loves the fact that it is not bulky and he can watch his shows while I cut his hair. Now to be honest, It is so lightweight that I am worried if it drops - but then again that would be my fault. All in all, I am very happy.

I have been cutting my hair with various Wahl clippers for about 20 years, but I am done with them. These Conair clippers were given to me to review, but I am thrilled with them anyway. The weight from the metal body takes a lot of the vibration away, making them much more comfortable to use then the Wahl clippers they are replacing. I also have issues with my Wahl clippers bogging in thick hair, even with sharp blades. These Conair clippers had no problems powering through the thicker hair.

I’ve had these hair clippers for a little over a month now and have used them twice. Let me start by saying I love the sleek, metal look to them. They’re a good weight and feel very sturdy. I was surprised by how quiet they were also. I wish the cord was just a tad longer but it’s definitely manageable. The clippers have various length settings like most do and of course all the attachments for the different sized clips. If I could change one thing about them it would be having them come in a hard case vs just storing the clippers and all the clips in a bag. Very minor issue of course and doesn’t reflect how they work because I will say they cut my husbands and sons hair and glided through with no tugs or pulls at all.

This Conair Metal Series High Performance Hair Clipper looks and feels to be built as a prosumer product. Very high quality, good weight and amazing cutting capabilities. It's super easy to use and the cutting guides snap on and off easily without needing to force or wedge them on...and they stay in place too. The bag and scissors that comes with this kit really should just be left out as they cheapen the look of the product. While those are nice to have, if you're going to provide them, they should at least equal the quality of the clippers themselves. As I mentioned above, these clippers cut amazingly well. No tugging of hair, moves through all types of hair quickly seemingly not bogging down. These are powerful. The only thing I noticed is after a few minutes of use, the clippers get a little more warmer than my current clippers. Utilizing the included oil did not help with the temp, which lets me know that the heat is coming from the motor and not the blades. I think for the cost and the quality you are getting, this clipper is a must have. The few cons pointed out above keep this from being 5 stars, but in terms of cutting and high quality look and feel, you will be more than pleased. First off this clipper feels like it will last a long time. I’ve had another brand for a few years and it has never cut like this one. It doesn’t over vibrate and cause my hand to go numb while cutting my hair. It is easy to clean. I especially like it when doing the detail work around my ears. I did receive this clipper as part of a free sample program, but I would buy it if I had known it was this good.

Overheats really fast and the blade/faceplate burns your skin after a minute or two of use. Rendering the hair cutting experience to only the first 5 min. Heats up really fast so beware.

This is a solid product. The clippers are sturdy and powerful. It offers a great trim at an extremely reasonable price. It comes with a full set of 8 guide comb attachments, barber scissors, blade guard, storage pouch, lubricating oil and brush. I have only used this product once so far, but I am confident it will last for years to come.

I have used a lot of clippers, But the feel and power are the best I have used. And did I mention they are very quiet and smooth? They are sharp and did I mention smooth, Lol And they fit your hand like a glove! Although I received from a sample program does not in any way change my opinion on them, In fact, I would buy them at even a higher price than what they are selling them for.

This clipper is a complete hair cutting set that comes in nice packaging. It's lightweight and easy to hold which comes in handy when you're cutting your own hair. It has plenty of power given that this is a corded model, and the motor and blades work well. I like the finish on this clipper but I have a concern, based on other reviews, that it will wear in spots after continued use.

I was really not expecting much from this pair of clippers since I've used tons of different clippers in the past but these stood out as a cut above, pun intended! They have such a nice sturdy quality and feel that I associate with my barber's clippers. They have such a premium weight to them that it really gives a sense of confidence when trimming. The blade protector is probably my favorite part. Trying to put everything back into cases and protective sleeves is just not my thing so being able to snap of the protector and toss it in a drawer without having to worry is great. The only tiny gripe I could find with these were that the guards only have numbers and not actual units of measurement on them. I like to be able to ask my barber specifics and it's harder to figure out when you have numbers that don't mean the same thing. Overall such a great pair of clippers! I really like this product. The cut is nice and crisp. The attachments are great length parameters while deciding how low you want to cut. The design is great for a smooth grip and handle. I really enjoyed using these clippers.

I received this product as part of a free sample program aimed at testing the performance, quality, and durability. Extremely positive experience using these clippers with very few drawbacks. Being corded provided consistent power however it was only 6 feet in length and would have preferred a couple more feet. The clippers come with 8 high-quality guide combs which is about double that of other brands. Also, the adjustable blend control provides allows for additional fine-tuning without changing combs. Blades were extremely sharp which I found it extremely easy to remove excess hair. Very pleased with this product.

Don't let the Covid19 lock down keep you looking crazy when you connect in on zoom or teams. This product provides a great entry and also professional haircut. It has a built in adjustable level and it also comes with additional clips to take full control of your hair. Sleek handle, solid hard power and also overall clean product. 4/5 because you will still need more tools to get the whole job done. I used these clippers on my hair and my beard. On my hair these clippers were great. They are sharp and the taper control is easy to use. The included guides worked very well and my haircut was clean and neat. Trying to use the trimmers to trim my beard was harder though. The included guides are too long to be ideal for beards. This lead to some odd positions being needed to achieve an even trim. Besides the awkward angles needed though, the trim looked pretty good. I received this product as part of a free sample program.

Full disclosure I received this as a free sample for testing. With that being said These are a really good set of clippers, I really like the adjustment handle, feels nice and solid to adjust for a perfect length. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is that I wish it were cordless, other than that I really like this set of clippers. The build quality and materials used really give this a premium feel without being overly bulky

Disclaimer: I received this product as part of a free sample program. When I got this out of the box, the first thing I noticed is that it seemed like a hybrid between your standard Wahl clippers and a personal groomer. That is that the blades and head look very much like the Wahl clippers I'm used to but that the form factor was a lot more manageable; the head is quite a bit smaller than my reference clippers, but the handle has a nice form factor compared to the thick and bulbous one I'm used to. After using it, I walked away impressed; I frequently use my Wahl clippers to trim my beard as I've done in more than a few beard trimmers that just weren't up to the job over the years. This model was just as capable (the blades are quite sharp, be careful of nicks), but the slimmed-down form factor allowed me to trim with a precision I just hadn't had with my old clippers. The unit came with all the standard things you'd expect: a blade guard for when not in use, various length attachments to cut hair at different lengths, a small pair of scissors for touchups, a cleaning brush, some blade oil, and a pouch to store them in. The clippers also have a built-in "tie" on the power cord allowing you to store it without a long cord flopping around everywhere getting in the way. My only real nit on this product so far is that I miss having something to store the unit itself in. The pouch is a little bit too small to fit the clippers into comfortably, although it is theoretically possible to do so. I'd really prefer something like the hard clamshell plastic case that my other clippers have. From limited use, I can definitely recommend; it does everything I could ask of this type of product capably and it looks rather sleek/nice too.

The product works well, cuts effectively, and is relatively quiet as well. The fact that the lever can be set to multiple positions is also huge, meaning you can get to the exact length you're looking for. On top of it all, it's also a great-looking product, and the colors make it easy to spot stray hairs when cleaning it.
