First impression: My first impression of the Conair Nose/Ear trimmer was that it was cheaply made. After using it I couldn’t have been more wrong. Quality. The Conair nose/ear trimmer runs off of an AA battery. The plastic used is thin and the springs small, which is what led to my initial impression. But this trimmer doesn’t require anything more. To use anything else wouldn’t add to the performance or quality of the cut, which is what really matters. Turning it on and off is done by twisting the base. I have used it a few times now, and it works great. The size and shape make it easy to hold while using. Performance: With the simple design, there isn’t much to talk about except for the performance of the cut, and the performance is outstanding. I have bought and tried numerous trimmers for nose and ear hair, and all of them are in the recycling center. Most of the ones I have bought range from completely ineffective to so-so at best. I figured this one would fall within the same category because all of them had up to this point. Not so, this nose/ear trimmer does an amazing job. It’s the first one that actually removes all of the hair in my ear and does so instantly. The one it just replaced is only about 60% effective and it takes minutes to get it to that point. This Conair trimmer eliminates all of the hair in my ears in less than 10 seconds. And it does so without pulling the hair either. Conclusion: If you are in need of an ear/nose trimmer, I highly recommend this trimmer. It is a simple to use, lightweight trimmer that does an excellent job at removing unwanted hair in the ears and nose quickly and completely, without pulling. I have found you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a good ear trimmer, you just have to find the right one. The Conair Metal Series high-performance ear/nose trimmer is the right one.

The Conair Metal Series High Performance Nose/Ear Trimmer is a simple, but elegant addition to a shaving routine. Right out of the box, my wife said “wow, I’m surprised that’s Conair”, as she does not expect much out of the company. The “Metal Series” Silver looks nice without breaking the bank. The device itself is simple, the main trimmer, a twist off bottom to insert the battery (1AA, Positive end toward the bottom), there is a cover to place on and off the trimmer head to protect it while not in use. To turn on/off the trimmer, a simple twist of the bottom and you are off. One of the simplest aspects of this trimmer is the fact it is battery powered; a lot of shaving appliances are wall plug/charged and it is nice to have an assessor that you just click on without any more thought. The performance of this Nose/Ear Trimmer is outstanding. At some point in your life, nose hairs start to multiply or lengthen an unruly amount. In the past, I’ve used a normal trimmer to angle into my nose, tweezers, or my hands to pluck hairs and well, this is a game changer. I consider this a luxury item, as one absolutely does not NEED it, but this is a WANT item if you suffer from Nose/Ear hairs. For the nose, simply placing the device about ¼” into the nares and a little motion around the walls of the nares makes for a cleanly shaven nose without being intrusive. It did create a tickle sensation, but my nose was just in awe also. A simple device, for a 10-20 second trim. Easy as that!

I use this to trim my nose hairs and it really works well! The area is a very sensitive area and I was hesitant to get any nicks or cuts but the way the trimmer is constructed, I felt comfortable and it trimmed my nose hairs fine. It's easy to use and easy to hold to guide it to whatever area you want to trim. I received his as a free sample.

The only nose trimmers I have used in the past were those cheap plastic ones that just yank the nose hairs out of your nostrils. You might as well have used tweezers. This Conair - Metal Series Nose/Ear Trimmer is not like those at all. It is built very sturdy and has some weight to it that shows it is not cheaply made. The cutting blade trims very well. No pulling the hairs out now it actually cuts them and you don't feel a thing. It just uses 1 AA battery so no having to plug it in and recharging. I assuming since it will only be used a few minutes at a time the battery should last a very long time. some might say it's a bit noisy but again, only using it a few minutes at a time, you really don't even notice the sounds it makes. Worth the price to get a quality trimmer instead of paying 5 bucks every year for cheap ones that hurt.

This is my first ear and nose hair trimmer. Needing one is a side effect of getting old I guess. It takes one AA battery. You turn it on by twisting the bottom battery cap. It cut through ear and nose hair quickly and easily. After trying it for the first time, I wasn't sure that it was doing anything. I was expecting at least a little pulling, but there wasn't any. A bonus is that the head pops off and can be washed out. If you're looking for an ear and nose hair trimmer, you won't be disappointed with this one. The one thing I don't like is that it looks like a long tube of lipstick, but there's not much that can be done about that. It pretty much has to be that shape in order to function.

After using the trimmer one time, I knew I had finally found the nose and ear trimmer I have searched high and low for for so long! The trimmer cuts so effortlessly that at first I did not think it was actually working. But when I looked in the mirror, I was amazed at how thoroughly and completely the trimmer removed all the hair from my nose and ears. There was no snagging, no pulling, absolutely no discomfort at all. This is the best trimmer I have ever used, and can honestly say I won't have to look any further for the perfect trimmer. I heartily recommend the Conair - High Performance Metal Series Nose/Ear Trimmer to ANYONE wanting to remove ALL the hair in their nose and ears!

Unboxing the Conair Metal Series Ear/Nose Trimmer gives a good first impression. The main silver portion of the body is metal, possibly aluminum, while the removable copper colored head and cap are plastic. A single AA battery is installable by removing the silver, metal-clad, cap at the bottom that doubles as the On/Off switch. Powered on, while the motor itself is quiet, the cutting head does make a lot of noise. Its noticeable enough just turning it on but pretty loud as you approach your ears. That said, the unit does cut well and never nicked me. All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the unit and would recommend it.

The 360 degree head makes it super efficient at getting all of the hairs in just a couple of passes. I have used other products in the past and have had issues with them pulling at the hair rather than cutting. The metal series trimmer cuts through all ear and nose hair easily and without any pain. The design is nice, not big and bulky. Twist it on and it is ready to go to work. Super easy to operate!

This is the first time me using this type of trimmer, I just unboxed it, install the battery and was ready to go. I noticed it was pretty easy to trim my nose hair, no pain no hurt just trim and clean, they head can be removed to clean. For the price I think is really worth it compare with other brands out there, this trimmer was design by people who really understand what is needed to get the best experience, I recommend this trimmer to anyone whose seeking for a low cost, good quality nose trimmer.

My husband was able to review the matching clippers and all-in-one trimmer set that included a nose trimmer attachment. So I will be reviewing this stand alone nose/ear trimmer. As a lady I don't trim my nose hairs often, and the few times I did, I would use a small scissor for the job. I have never used a trimmer and was quite nervous because, I was scared of pulling or snagging. However, this was not the case with this device. I did not experience an ounce of discomfort while using. It does tend to get a bit warm, but nothing that will cause you to...Feel. The. Burn. Since it's not a device that is on for an extended period of time you should never reach that point of discomfort when it comes to heat it may produce. I only did around the inner rim of my nose, but I did feel that I had to go around a few times to get a clean smooth trim, but boy it was cleaner than a whistle. My goodness there was so much airflow. My breathing felt different. Like anything could come and go as it pleased, lol. Truth be told I didn't like the feeling of it being so bare. So the next time I will make sure that I only trim the longer hairs and not go complete commando. Like I said this was my first time and that was my learning experience. The device is a nice fit in your hands. It matches the other products in this lineup nicely. It's easy to clean, just by removing the head. The head on this unit is different from the one that is included in the All-In-One Trimmer set. I prefer the look of this device head over the attachment my husband used, and in my opinion it seems to work better as well. It does operate using a battery but that keeps it nice and compact. I don't have any cons to report at this time. This was an easy in and out job, and it does exactly as its intended and designed to do.

I received this Conair Ear/Nose Trimmer and as I personally had no reason to use it my husband gave it a whirl. You place one AA battery in and you're good to go. It has a 360 degree cutting system with a 3-level blade so there's no pulling, nicks or cuts. The head is washable, very easy to use. He said he felt no pulling or any discomfort and find it quite the worthwhile little gadget. If you are in the market for one of these, I would highly recommend its purchase.

I'll admit that after opening the package I was skeptical that the Conair Nose/Ear trimmer would work well on a single AA battery. I was wrong! This is about the size of a magic-marker, it's smooth and comfortable in your hand and easily maneuverable in/around the nose and ears. Blades are sharp and get the job done quickly, without any nicks or cuts. Small, powerful, AND cordless making it easy to store, or take on a trip. Great product.

Finally a nose trimmer that works! I’ve had so many of them and they never work. Nose hair is so unattractive and the older I get the harder it is to trim them. This thing takes one AA and it’s powerful. Be careful how much you want to cut because it gets it all! You can hear all the hair in the blades. After I always clean up my nostrils with tissue and I notice so much more hair coming out. I am very happy with this trimmer.

I received this item as part of a free sample program and I was initially unimpressed. it's very basic looking compared to other trimmers I have used...that said I was very impressed with how well it worked. When I first turned it on I was surprised how loud and almost agressive the motor was. I was even hesitant at first to put it in my nose but it worked exceptionally well.

I've had other nose hair trimmers before that were battery operated and most failed somehow. I like that this one is powerful enough to cut those pesky hairs. Super easy to use . Easy to clean just remove the head and rinse in the sink . It doesn't hurt my nose when I use it like others have . Conair has taken their time developing this one and it shows . I don't see anything wrong with it. Definitely get this one

The head of this trimmer is perfectly designed to get to and cut nose hairs. It reaches and cuts them all closely. I've used several different trimmers in the past and this one is far superior to any of the others I've used. Going forward I'll never use anything else to trim nose hairs and neither will anyone else who tries this one. It's hands down the best performing personal grooming product I've ever used.

I received this trimmer free as part of a sample program. This trimmer doesn't pull, pinch, or miss a single hair. The unique design really makes trimmer easy and efficient. I have bought several trimmers in the past and they either cut too close or barely at all. This trimmer is going to change the nose trimming game.

Easy to use. Light weight. Good for travel. Trims hair very close to the skin without causing any nicks or cuts. After the first use it left some black residue around my nostrils but didn't on the second use. Would recommend this product for anyone looking for a hair trimmer

This is a very no frills trimmer. It is simple, easy to use, compact, and quiet. It even has a little cap for the trimmer head to keep it clean and out of the way. It does the job it’s intended for. My only wish is that it had a built in battery instead of using a AA that it doesn’t even include. Otherwise I have no complaints!

Decent trimmer, defiantly built solid, not like some of the cheap flimsy ones I have tried, I got his as part of a free sample program but it cuts well and simple to use. One thing I don't like is it is a bit loud for trimming my ear hairs, if they could fix that I would give it 5 stars!
