I have thick, wavy hair, and most of the 1inch typical straighteners would need about 10 passes over my hair to straighten it! it used to take about 1.5 hrs! yuck! This straightener does the job in about a half hour (like i said. dark, thick, wavy/curly hair). My friends with thinner hair have taken about 10 minutes. The iron is well made, durable, and holds constant temperature well. The heat resistant bag is a MUST for traveling. I loved this iron so much, that when it finally kicked the bucket after living a good long 4 years, I went on a rapid hunt to find the exact same model. Definitely worth the investment!

Straight but Natural

It heats up literally in 30 seconds and its hot enough to straighten your hair without frying it or damaging it. the ceramic plates used are better for the hair so your hair isnt damaged as easily/quickly. i recommend this straightener to anyone who wants natural looking straight hair because it is just perfect enough without looking worked and styled for hours until all of your hair falls out. Awesome flat iron!

Just bought this one and its awesome!!! It adds so much shine to my hair, and all the frizzies are completely smoothed out! Definately worth the price, which isn't too expensive!

Not so great, this time around
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this same straightener a couple years ago and it finally died on me. I was so excited to find the exact same one again. Unfortunately, the first time I used it, it kept shutting off. It would heat up and while straightening my hair it would shut off. Maybe I just got a defective one, but I had to return it. Now I can't find another one.
