heats up quickly - does a nice job of straightening my fine textured hair, but takes much longer on my daughters thicker hair

I tried this for a quite awhile, I tried with damp hair thinking that would work at frist. Then i tried with out turning it on hot. didnt work good at all/ so next time i tried all the way up and it was better. But not as good as i need it to be. I have very very thick hair. And it is hard to find rods that can heat up enough to do my hair.

I have two. This one and a larger size one . I like both of them but I wish the larger one would get a little higher heat.

Using conair hair straightner was good experience.

I purchased the purple one. Got a black straightener. I decided to give it a try. Cant say good things about this product. Doesn't do the job unless is higher temperature. If u have thin hair like me u can damage it. Plus way too hot in your hands no i don't recommend this product at all.

There is a small gap between the hot plate and the handle.. I constantly get small pieces if my hair stuck and pulled

Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this product nor would I buy the same brand again.

This flat iron works great on naturally curly hair. It heats up quickly and is easy to use. It takes out all the curl and frizz in only one or two times over the hair. It does get very hot so be careful of burns!

I love this straightener! I was worried because it was on the cheap side and I've learned my lesson before, but it really does get the job done! It works so well that I don't have to take too much time doing it. I have long thick hair and my hair is pretty wavy but It works better than my old one. And it doesn't fry your hair! Good product.

I like it so far but there is No on light showing its on. That would make it safer.

I recommend this my friends. In fact my friend has one and ive been dying to get one for me so i decided to get one. It works really good.

I bought this as a replacement for my Remington that stopped working after only 6 months. It seemed to straighten my hair fine at first. But after a few minutes, the hair right in the middle of the back of my head would start to look a bit wavy. I have naturally wavy hair and I don't blow-dry prior to straightening. My Remington always smoothed out my hair and didn't pull on it while I was straightening. This Conair just didn't live up to the expectation that I thought it would.
