I have 3 daughters all of which have different hair texture, we were excited and curious about this flat iron. The “Instant Heat Technology” allows you to select and adjust the temperature of the flat iron to accommodate thin/fragile, normal hair, wavy/curly hair and thick hair. It has 5 ultra-high heat temperatures settings. Next thing I really liked was the safety feature which automatically shuts off the curling iron within 60 minutes, this is especially important since I have a kids in our home. The flat iron is pretty self explanatory, my eleven year old daughter was able to easily operate it and straighten her hair without any issues. Once plugged in the flat iron got very hot within a few seconds, so we didn’t have to wait long to get started styling her hair. The plates are what they call “tourmaline ceramic” this made it really easy to wipe and clean any hair product build up on the plates. Overall we liked the flat iron. I would recommend it to a friend or family member if they are looking for a flat iron, my daughter really liked how easy it was to use she especially liked the results and I really liked how quick the whole process was from turning it on, to it heating up and actually styling her hair. We love this flat iron!

Overall the flat iron is great. Straightened hair after only one pass instead of multiple passes. The only slight down fall was, is that it's easy to pinch the hand holding the flat iron. However, overall it works great and is easy to use. The temperature adjustment settings are very easy.

GOOD -Heats up fast -Digital temp display -Recessed control buttons, no accidental presses -Swivel power cable -Molded finger stops on the frame BAD -Longer heating pads would be nice -Could use better insulation on the frame OVERALL It won't wow you, but this is a good flat iron for a reasonable price. It heats up fast and holds temperature well. It's a lot nicer to see a temperature display rather than an arbitrary heat setting number. The control buttons are recessed and stiff enough so there's no risk of accidentally pressing one, and the swivel power cable helps prevent cord tangles. The back of the frame has molded ridges on either end of the heating plates, acting as finger stops to keep your fingers from getting burned. Still, it would've been nice to have some extra insulation on the back of the heating pads to keep the frame from getting so hot. Also, it would be nicer if the heating pads were a little longer.

Conair’s Infinity Pro Gold 1” Tourmaline Ceramic Iron Heats up right away, it’s well constructed, has a nice grip and the cable is just right in terms of length. This ceramic iron was designed for people with coarse or hard to style hair, it heats up to 455°F and has five settings, and it maintains a consistent temperature throughout the ceramic plates. Nothing revolutionary but it gets the job done, my 18-year-old daughter really likes it and she uses it very often.

The flat iron is ok. It is not that great, good for thin hair.

My wife was the primary reviewer of our new curling iron, but she had a few key points to make when reviewing and using this for the first few days once she got it out and set up to replace her current flat iron: - The build quality is premium and much better quality than most in this price range. This resulted in a few improvements in use as well, as some cheaper models tend to "pull hair" where this one didn't. - Multiple heat settings actually seemed to control heat, where the typical multi-heat models in this price range seemed to be either HOT or NOT. - This iron gets HOT so if you're looking for a good high-heat iron, this one will do nicely. There are certain types of hair that some flat irons just can't do anything with. This one seems engineered specifically for high curl and coarse hair types. - This iron has a nice flexible cord, unlike some cheaper models with firmer power cords, this made it easy to navigate around her head while using without worrying about the stiff cord getting in the way. All in all for her hair type, this was a great pick. Better control, good weight, and great results. This is her new go-to flat iron!

Wife enjoyed using this flat iron more than the curling iron. The 5 settings and super quick heat up made it simple to use. She really like the slim design and stated it was a breeze to use. The auto off is nice, as well, just in case you are in a hurry and forget to shut it off. Excellent flat iron

Conair ceramic infinity pro flat iron, Awesome my hair is thick wavy/curly & frizzy, it helped tame the frizz & was able to straighten my hair in less time then I did with my old flat iron all the way down to the root fast & easy to use heats up fast, my hair feels soft & looks shiny

It feels like a quality build and the heating element heats up quickly. It is straightforward as it comes, it heats up quickly and the heat doesn't fluctuate which helps when straightening your hair. Overall a quality product at a great price!

Nothing but positive feedback from the wife about the Conair Flat Iron. She especially likes how quickly it can heat up under 15 seconds, and how hot it can get up to 455°F, also how well it can maintain heat uniformity. She prefers the Ceramic material since it takes less time to heat up. Having 5 heat settings allows you to adjust the heat based on hair type. Compared to the old one she was using before she’s been able to save some time when doing her hair. My wife has used flat irons for years and says this one is very good for her curly hair. She was most impressed with the quick heat up function. Often heating up flat irons takes several minutes, not seconds as this one does. She loved that feature. Said it feels good in hand, has good cord length, well built. The multiple settings is also a good feature. She said she is very happy with the results of the flat iron.

My hair is curly (Type 3A) and very coarse. I have a hard time getting it sleek and straight, but this flat iron does the job beautifully. It heats up quickly and glides through my hair with no tugging or pulling. My hair is not only straight, but shiny and healthy looking as well. It even straightens the hard to work with section at the nape of my neck! This is the best straightener of used regardless of price, and I've spent a lot on some pricey brands.

this flat iron does a very good just straightening by curly hair. It took me awhile to find the right heat setting, but once I did the flat iron did the job, lasting almost five days before I had to use it again. I found that the duration led me to have to use it less and the result was less heat damaged hair. The ample handle remains cool and it is easy to hold. Overall I'm pretty happy with the unit and hopefully it will last a few years. like the ten year old flat iron it replaced.

Most flat irons are too strong and I feel like my hair just burns and thins away. This Conair flat iron produces just the right amount of heat. The build quality is great like any other Conair product. Super affordable for such a great product. Highly recommended!

I have a girlfriend and I have a daughter, but my daughter's only eight and apparently these type of hot irons can damage a baby's hair so my girlfriend uses it. I love being seen with her in public after she flat irons her hair. It's perfect she says there's no issues and it doesn't burn my counter like her old hot iron used to. I love that. Pick one up for the misses she'll love you for it.

My wife actually likes this one. It works well with her hair. She used it this morning before work. Loves the way it heats up quickly.

I actually got this for my girlfriend. She says it works great for curling her hair or straightening it.
