Even on the "hot" setting it isn't too hot, so that is nice. Haven't used the cool shot feature. It is a little bit heavy but once you get used to it, it is fine -- a good trade for how powerful it is.

Works Great For My 4A/4B Hair Texture

I have 4A/4B hair, which can take a long time to blow dry when you want to straighten your hair, but this dryer reduces that time. Highly recommend!
