Its no max Payne, but control has a great story great visuals and a big step up from quantum break.

If you’re able to stick with the game past the insanity of the storyline (which becomes a bit clearer with time), you’ll unlock a great deal of depth in the gameplay. I got the platinum in less than a week; with minimal grind involved and a decent challenge without being stupid difficult (no difficulty setting). Definitely try it out if you’re a fan of Alan Wake or similar third person horror games.

Very underrated game, this is what triple AAA companies should aim to be. Nothing has really felt complete since PS2 era games and I am extremely satisfied by it I had to get the steel book version from you guys. I’ve owned before purchasing through Best Buy so yes I technically own two copies. But get this game there will be no disappointment. Well unless you don’t like single player games.

Control is a game whether you'll love or hate. It's a typical Remedy game, made by the people behind Alan Wake, Quantum Break, and the original Max Payne. Mind you, "typical Remedy game" usually revolves around supernatural or otherworldly themes. I haven't finished the game yet, but the story is interesting enough. I feel it has a very SCP-style theme to it, and I think that is where it'll get a distinction from other third-person shooters.

This is the game we’ve dreamed of playing. Beautiful, crazy, dark, and wild. Great combination of shooting, using powers, and solving puzzles. This game really draws you in and makes you want to play more. Graphics are stunning. I was not let down when control finally released. The only thing is that I felt the game wasn’t that long, but glad there will be two DLC’s.

The deluxe edition of this fantastic game offers an embossed metal case with character cards inside. The game itself is a great experience. The characters are all very interesting along with the story which involves environment manipulation of sorts, hence the name. A unique game that should be a welcome experience different from conventional genres.

Remedy is one of the few lesser-known developers who I think deserve more attention. Max Payne 1 and 2 were both innovative, and while they haven't delivered a product as innovative in a while their games have always been solid. Control is no exception. With a long 12 to 15 hour campaign that incorporates supper natural elements into a by the numbers shooter, Control is definitely a game I can recommend.

From the creators of Max Payne! This is a fun game with smooth gunplay mechanics. I am very picky about my gunplay being smooth and fast. It is a sci-fi game with elements of horror. I’m more of a FPS guy but this had a good story and some interesting elements to keep me engaged throughout it’s pretty lengthy campaign! Thank you Remedy and 505!

If you like Metroid, Castlevania type games then this is for you. Unlock more of the map as you get more powers and abilities Tight controls, great graphics, engaging story. My only gripes is the framerate sometimes is slow on my PS4 pro. And the map system needs work. Other than that excellent game. 5 stars

The game's framerate drops into the teens or even single digits whenever there are many enemies on screen with lots of explosions and objects going around. Really interesting paranormal mystery with solid third person shooter gameplay. Game feel and sound design are not as crisp as Remedy's last game Quantum Break, but this game is still nothing to scoff at.

From my experience with the game, it does glitch like almost alot, they could have tried to make it almost perfect, besides how the game is, I love how I can use special powers and fight enemies great graphics, great fighting, strategy is ok, good enough to play, just needs alittle patient with the glitch, maybe they will fix the glitch someday
