What a disappointment: this game has a very good story. Unfortunately I couldn't complete it because its just too difficult! During "boss fights" getting hit twice by the boss inevitably kills your character. And you can't save this game whenever you like, either. Interestingly, I read another review where the player was complaining that the game was too easy. Making a story driven game without a way to adjust the difficulty to suit the player is simply game development malpractice! And, this game is very buggy. Frequent frame-rate slow downs, and not infrequent crashes also plague this game. I really enjoyed the story. Its a shame I had to watch the ending on YouTube...

Fun game to play, one of the best games, recommended

Playing this game can be fun, but it has no difficulty settings. If your great at shooters then you’ll feel right at home. If not then you will be doomed to repeat the same gun battles over and over. Bosses take off 90% off tour health in one hit. This means if your not the best at 3rd person shooters then this is not a game for you. Since it is almost impossible to get life back in a boss fight you have to be perfect which is just not possible for me. I really wanted to enjoy this game, but the lack of difficulty settings means I will sell it and move on. Losing over and over in a boss fight gets old.

A cool story from the same developer that brought us Alan Wake, unfortunately there are a number of technical issues, playing on the regular Xbox one. I would recommend it to someone who was really interested in the story but it’s not a must play.

I never heard this game until I went to Best Buy. I nearly bought it but decided to see what other people thought first. On YouTube, everyone gave this game a great review. I bought it and played myself. It's a blast. Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Control is a game of inverted rooms and introverted power upgrades. Fight against you inner demons and an unearthly force as you attempt to find answers for yourself and what happened to your family so long ago.

If you like complex story driven games including great third person action Control is your game. The story unfolds as you go and keeps your interest. The control is good and the action is tight. This game is enjoyable from the outset.

Nice! Even though this is just the base standard version of Control on clearance, that's all I really want. In about a year, there will be a super ultra extreme alternate universe director's cut ready.

My son was happy with the nuts and bolts of the game the plot just didn’t suck him in the way he thought he might be I guess.

Thought I’d try this after reading some reviews and I’m not disappointed. Solid action game with a story, while a bit confusing, gets better as the game goes along.

After Alan Wake and Quantum Break, Remedy has done it again with Control. Such a weird and beautiful world they’ve created. I definitely recommend this game.
