Such a great game. Taking my time with this one. After playing Quantum Break, I wouldn't have imagined this would be so much better.

I don't normally play games that focus heavily on mowing down enemies with guns, as I often find the excessive violence or gore unpleasant. However, even though it is very much rated M, bloodshed is minimal and enemies essentially evaporate once defeated. That all being said, this is an all-timer in terms of design, and fans of Lovecraftian horror will find a lot to enjoy. The mechanics are easy to pick up and as a result the game is extremely and compulsively playable. The Ultimate Edition is a bargain, but lease note the DLC is not on the disc, but my Xbox immediately started downloading them along with the standard updates once inserted. All AAA games should aspire to be this fresh and distinct.

I am not by any means a gamer... but this a game i am loving to play. Amazing how intricate and detailed the story is.

Great game it takes you to a different real of quantum abilities, plus it’s something different to try story driven.

I got to give this an average review because of the companies practice towards early adopters. I understand they don't owe you anything, but to force players who supported you early to buy a whole new copy is ridiculous. I personally was waiting for a good sale on everything and then saw this would come out. I only got it because I had nothing else to use an expiring BB gift card.

Control is by far one of the best games I have played. Now with the Ultimate Edition, the experience will be complete. Recommended to everyone who likes great gameplay and playing experience. The makers of this game put a lot of effort and time into the minor details which just enhance the overall gaming experience!

This game is very cool, there are lots of interesting things to do and maps are unreal.

Originally played this game on gamepass but liked it so I’ve been looking for a physical copy. Seen it on a massive sale brand new so I decided to grab it. Really enjoy the game not to spooky.

Beautiful visuals, and amazing gameplay. I did not expect much from this game but once I started playing it, it was really good. The mechanics and gameplay are nice. I am happy with my purchase.

Awesome game. If you are a fan of any previous Remedy games, (Max Payne, Alan Wake, Quantum Break) then you will love this.

Great game. But here’s the issue. When I put the disc into my new series x, yes it downloaded onto my hard drive but it downloaded two copies. The old school control image and the new ultimate edition image. The original control downloaded at 17gb while the ultimate downloaded at 256mb. After looking it up, control should have been over 40gb. So while I was playing the game, I wasnt able to progress after about two hours of playing. I think I was still in chapter 1. Saying my game needs to finish downloading even though in the queue I have nothing there. So what I had to do is, delete both copies of the game, go into the Microsoft Store and download control. Since I have the disc I was able to download it for free. Then manage your new disc and download the expansion pack and that’s it.

Good detail . Different pace. I'm new to the series and wanted to give it a chance. Got it on sale for $8 and was shockingly surprised with the gameplay

Played this on my Xbox one X and its a lot of fun, but could use some polish as the frame rate slows when multiple enemies on screen. Can't wait to play it on Series X!
